Singer/actress/crazy person Bai Ling was arrested at LAX airport for shoplifting $16 worth of stuff from an airport terminal store.
"A private persons arrest was made by a store employee after Ling allegedly took two Star magazines along with two packs of triple A batteries totaling about $16 and left the store without paying.
“LAX airport police transported Ling to Pacific Station, where she was booked for misdemeanor shoplifting and released on her promise to appear in court on March 5, 2008.
“Ms. Ling was cooperative throughout the process. She was held for a couple of hours. There was no mugshot."
Wtf?! No mugshot? Every other aspect of her crazy life (her dancing, singing, awful fashion, and nipple slips) have been documented by the media so why not the embarrassment of having to pose for the police in lock up?
Seriously, I pay taxes so I expect mugshots. Without these mugshots what am I supposed to spread across my bed and roll around in? $100 bills just aren't the same thing.

'Roots', or perhaps better known by the public as Madonna, rocked a fantastic see through dress at the photocall/premiere of 'Filth and Wisdom'. This is the singer/actress's chance to prove to everyone she can make a movie. It was presented as part of the 58th Annual Berlin Film Festival in Germany.

Uma Thurman's latest movie couldn't be more different from her Kill Bill days if it tried. This romantic comedy sees Uma playing the part of Emma, a down to earth and sensible lady who ends up falling in love with "a charming and handsome neighborhood fireman" (and no that's not a plot spoiler because I haven't told you if they live happily ever after).
So, it's not surprising to see the film was cleverly released the day before Valentine's day. And, even more predictably, Uma looked a little flushed when the red carpet heated up with the arrival of London's hottest fireman!

Catch the moment Adnan and the victim photographer tried to 'chat it out' with the nice police men. Reports suggest Ghalib roughed up the photographer after he snapped him with a woman that wasn't Britney! Shocker! He then started laying into the other paps as he drove away:
ADNAN: "That's the extreme you guys have to go to, to earn a buck these days"
PAP: "Isn't that what you used to do?"
ADNAN: "Me personally I do 20 hours a day, seven days a week" (Doing what?)
PAP: "It's a b*tch becoming a public figure isn't it"

Since entering Britney's life, it appears Adnan has realised just how horrible it can be on the other side of the lens. So much so, he has even ratted out his own kind to the cops.
Mr Ghalib called on his friends in blue last night, after a couple of photographers refused to stop taking pictures of him walking with two unidentified women. He spent some time talking to the officers before choosing not to press any charges.
It's hard to understand where Adnan is coming from on this, because the dude owns his own picture agency. And we all know that if he went about asking celebrities first if he could take their photo, he wouldn't have a business!!
My message to this wet wipe - GROW UP! You put yourself in this position!

When Splash spotted troubled singer Britney arriving at the Millennium dance studio's in the Valley yesterday, we wondered, had we snapped the first signs of a new Miss Spears?
It's been reported that Brit has been hitting the dance floor in a bid to start a world tour, which her family hope will get her away from L.A. But, tours aside, it looks like her family may be affecting Britney in other ways. Look close and you can see this is probably the best Spears' hair has ever looked. Granted she has a dyed scalp, but gone are the nasty looking extensions. Did Mama Spears finally drag her daughter to the hairdressers?
Also as the singer left her Escalade car, accompanied by two security guards, she completely ignored the photographers. Has her family tried to offer further advice on how she must now handle the ever present media?
I guess time will tell!
