"Mr. Heath Ledger died as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam, and doxylamine," said New York Chief Medical Examiner Charles Hirsch. "We have concluded that the manner of death is accident, resulting from the abuse of prescription medications."Ledger's family along with Michelle Williams have arrived back in Australia for his funeral.

An accident due to the abuse of prescription drugs, how is that an accident? You know, I could buy that Heath did accidently comsume the wrong meds in conjunction with mixing them.. but somebody has to be responsible. Once I took all the meds that my MIL had and listed them all, I then searched on line and found that she had been given one drug that was deadly when mixed with another.
She's in her 90's..come on with all the technology today, somebody has to be responsible for Heath's deadly cocktail, unless they were purchased illegaly. I still don't get how it could be classified abuse...more likely uneducated misuse of a deadly cocktail.
Accidental death resulting from abuse of prescription meds? How is that an accident?
You know, I took my 90 year old MIL's precriptions, listed them all and went on line to check out if she was taking pills that were deadly when mixed. She was always unwell. I found she was taking a pill that was actually deadly when mixed with another.
So who is responsible for Heath's cocktails, did he obtain them illegaly or were they prescribed>..in which case, someone is actually responsible for his death.
Abuse of prescription drugs or misuse of a deadly cocktail?.
What an f'n waste of a human life.
