It is reported that Britney Spears has been the victim of a burglary. The LAPD were called to Britney Spears' Beverly Hills home after her parents discovered her house had been burgled. It is believed that Spears' father Jamie and mother Lynne discovered valuable possessions belonging to the "Gimme More" star were missing, after they returned to the house from their appearance at court on Friday. The report which was immediately filed by Britney’s parents detailing that they believe that the items were stolen after the troubled star was taken to UCLA Medical Center in the early hours of Thursday morning. LAPD officer, Alex Martinez confirmed that police had responded to a call at Britney's home, but did not know the reasons why they were called. "The report is being processed through our system. We do not have access to it." On Friday Jamie Spears won temporary legal control over his daughter and has the power of attorney to remove anyone who is staying at the house until the next hearing on Monday. Sam Lufti, who currently has a 21-day civil harassment restraining order against him has not been named as a suspect, however he did have access to the star’s home during the alleged burglary.
