Ellen Page has spoken out against celebrities and starlets her age who "get into drugs." The actress also said that she feels true "compassion" for celebrities who take a turn off the rails. "I feel really bad for those individuals and a lot of compassion," Page said. "One of the big problems is, no one really says, 'Why is this happening?' And no one really offers that insight. They just get consistently judged for it." She continued by stating that it's not a new trend, but one that is more high-profile because of intense media scrutiny. "People just like to pick away at other people, you know?," she said. "You have websites that are just devoted to finding a stain on an actor's pants. I would like anyone else who does that judging to be in that person's position and see what that feels like." I wouldn't mind getting her autograph, either, since this star more or less came out of nowhere and is now an Oscar favorite!
