Actress Lindsay Lohan HAS split from Samantha Ronson - but is so upset about it she is living in denial, according to a U.S. report.
Lindsay and Samantha were widely reported to have split after a series of blistering fights over the new year. But the Mean Girls actress took to her blog to insist: "we did NOT break up!"
However insiders still insist that they are done with - but Lindsay is just struggling to face reality.
"Sam broke up with Lindsay, but she is completely in denial about it," one insider told Page Six column in the U.S.
Meanwhile, Lohan has been turning heads by partying with Sean Penn, who she was previously spotted muzzling up to in a nightclub. The duo went to Nobu in West Hollywood before heading to newly reopened hip club Guy's.
Meanwhile, this controversial online commercial won't help matters. Titled 'Lindsay Lohan's My Buddy Lesbian Playsets' the commercial depicts Samantha as a lesbian doll on a stick, with Lindsay's character singing along.

Reese Witherspoon looked the picture of good health when we saw her stepping out in Westwood, California yesterday. While she might be paying more attention to her routine to kick off '09, she's been seen so many times getting fresh air and working out that it's not surprising she's still at it! The actress was spotted carrying a bottled water in workout clothes and looking trim and athletic.
Maybe she'll help us jump-start those fitness promises we've made for this year...

Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie made another show stopping entrance as she arrived at VH1's 14th Annual Critics' Choice Awards, in Santa Monica. The 33-year-old actress wowed the waiting media as she revealed her trim legs in a slashed to the thigh light blue gown. With her toned body and freshly groomed features, the former Tomb Raider star looked as far removed from that of a mother of six as possible.
Meanwhile an equally attractive Brad Pitt remained glued to Jolie's hip as he posed with an over zealous quiff and a sharp suit.

As Paris and Nicky Hilton partied at Bar Deluxe in Hollywood, they were joined by another rarely seen blonde - Jessica Simpson. The failed country singer made a rare appearance on the party seen last night, venturing out in a black polo neck with little make up. Twlight star Ashley Greene also attended and photographers reported she appeared to be carrying a change of clothing.
