Pop princess Kylie Minogue set pulses racing as she draped herself over a grand piano in a close fitting gold dress. Minogue, 39, performed duets with Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney and jazz supremo Jools Holland and his rhythm and blues orchestra at an end of year celebration.
The pint sized pop star took to the stage to celebrate the start of 2008 two days after being awarded an OBE for services to music. She finished by performing her latest single Two Hearts and a special version of her eighties hit I Should Be So Lucky.
Minogue performed on BBC 2 show Jools' Annual Hootenanny in front of a celebrity audience including Doctor Who star David Tennant, comedian Lenny Henry and soul singer Beverley Knight.

No this isn't a picture of a twig, but a delightful snap shot of Amy Winehouse and Blake Fiedler-Civil moments after they married in Miami back in May. And if reports ring true, the couple may be reliving that loving day as they set to renew their vows. UK newspapers are reporting that Amy pledged to renew her vows to her jail bound hubby, in a bid to boost Blake's spirits.
An insider said: "When Blake was first arrested, they both declared their undying love for each other and promised each other it would be good to renew their vows. And the time feels right to do that now. They are missing each other terribly. Amy wants them to repeat the same vows they took when they originally tied the knot in a £60 ceremony in Miami last may"
Miss Winehouse will be flying back from a Caribbean vacation on friday.

If like me, you have just enjoyed the 12 days of Christmas celebrity free, you are probably feeling a little out the loop! But never fear, having viewed the holidays nightclub party scene, nothing has changed in the wonderful world of Hollywood.
Paris Hilton still grabbed the limelight, but this time with her knickers at Pure nightclub and LAX in Vegas. Mariah Carey caused outrage when her 'plus one' invite turned into a 'plus two' as her breasts decided to steal the show at Tao. Avril Lavigne still looked twelve years old and as equally as annoying at Planet Hollywood in Vegas. Kevin Federline is still fugly (check that double chin). And Pamela Anderson wore little in LAX while Kid Rock caused a stir with a mystery woman in NYC.

It appears Jamie-Lynn's pregnancy has done nothing to bring the Spears family closer together. Britney, minus her mum and sister, saw in 2008 with her two sons and her favourite new MARRIED paparazzo Adnan Ghalib. According to OK! magazine, the troubled pop princess spent New Year's Eve at a beachfront mansion in California.
The group was also joined by Britney's court-appointed monitor (because neither he/she or Adnan wanted to spend it with their family?). Ghalib made the headlines last month when he made a late-night trip with Spears to the Beverly Hills Hotel for lunch, telling pals that it was 'the best night of his life'.

UK newspapers are speculating that the stress of Sir Paul McCartney's divorce from the tabloid hater Heather Mills, may have landed the Beatle star in hospital, after it was revealed that the star underwent a secret heart operation last year.
Macca, 65, had a coronary angioplasty, a procedure which helps blood pump around the arteries. "It was a routine medical operation", confirmed his spokesperson last night, "Paul felt there was something not quite right and luckily sought professional help. It's not something that can be left to chance. Thankfully the operation went well and Paul feels great".

Hollywood's favourite DJ has opened up about his wild years of heavy drug abuse. Celebrity spinner DJ AM, who has dated the likes of Nicole Richie and Mandy Moore, says his addiction escalated when was kicked out of his home by his mum at the age of 14.
"I spent the next two years doing drugs every day, until I went to my mom and actually asked her to send me to rehab," AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, told Glamour magazine. Goldstein, 34, stayed in the center, which he calls 'an abusive house of horrors' until he was 18. "When I was 20, I started freebasing cocaine. For the next four years that's about all I did - with the exception of deejaying. At 24, I felt like my life was over."
Things got so bad that Goldstein ended up putting a loaded pistol in is mouth, but when he pulled the trigger the gun did not fire. He added further that he has now been sober for more than nine years.
