It looks like 2008 is going to be all about Britney Spears but I think Hilary Duff is set for a big year. Homegirl has three movies coming out in '08 (Greta, Food Fight, and Safety Glass) and she turns 21!
As much as train wrecks keep me employed, I have a feeling she's not headed into Spears/Hilton/Lohan/Richie territory.

In non-Britney Spears news, Gwen Stefani and Husband Gavin Rossdale look like they're doing well. They took son Kingston to Pizza Express while visiting friends Buckinghamshire countryside.

Apparently some of you are fans of Taylor Hicks and his brand of
Michael McDonald rip off music. Actually, you guys are obsessed with Taylor Hicks, who he's dating, who he's not dating, and his chart battle with fellow American Idol Alum Chris Daughtry so what do you think of the news that Taylor has been dropped by his record label?
"Taylor is going to record his next album on his own," said a label rep. "He is no longer on the J Records roster."
Recording an album on your own is industry speak for you stink and they don't want to put any money behind your sure-to bomb project.

Five years ago, If you had said Britney Spears was going to be Courtney Love of our generation, I would have called bullsh*t.
Courtney Love was famously handcuffed to a stretcher when she refused medical treatment following a 911 call on her birthday on July 9th, 2004. Police were called to the scene after people complained she was throwing bottles from her apartment window into the street and was later spotted in her SoHo apartment lobby claiming she had just had an abortion/miscarriage.

What is David Beckham doing wearing an Arsenal training top? The Los Angeles Galaxy star stopped off to train at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium sporting his new hairstyle, and Beckham not only showed off his skills on the pitch but his new silver shaved hair. He even managed to find a top sporting the number 23, his number at former club Real Madrid.
Beckham is believed to have asked Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger if he could train with the Arsenal reserves at the 60,000 seat stadium at Ashburton Grove. Perhaps the soccer star is hoping to show new England coach Fabio Capello he is serious about playing for his country.
Further news in camp Beckham is the release of yet another ad for their his 'n' hers Intimately Beckham fragrance. This time, the photograph is a little more up to date and represents Victoria's current look. So while David is smiling on the pitch in Arsenal, I'm smiling at his pretty face!

Life & Style has exclusively reported that Britney Spears' blood tests at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center came back negative. We have not heard an official statement from the family, hospital or the police, but if this report runs true then it would squash earlier concerns from police that she appeared to be under the influence of a substance.
“Her blood test just came back, and, thank God, it was clean. There are no traces of drugs or alcohol of any kind,†a source close to the Spears family tells Life & Style.
Other media agencies believe Britney's odd behaviour could be down to the star missing treatment for her Bipola Disorder. Further to this, Kevin Federline and his lawyers (Kaplan) have returned to court this morning, to plead that Kevin receives full custody of the two children, Jayden James and Sean Preston. I can hardly see them arguing this.
Now Magazine Feature Editor, Gillian Crawley says:
"Where are her parents, or form of management? No was was around to give her guidance. I don't see why she should be expected to have any self control. There have been pictures of Britney courting the press, but I don't know how someone like that can have the right judgement. I'm not sure that Lynn Spears is the right person to give her guidance. I think she is in a terrible lonely place, she has no one to trust, she is fueding with her manager, she doesn't have a record company. If you look at her she is completely helpless."
