Jessica Alba is on the cover of the February edition of Elle Magazine and in it she talks about her pregnancy (yawn) and how she wants to be considered a serious actor and not a sex symbol (good luck) but she does take a minute to diss High School Musical hunk Zac Efron, saying he looks like a little kid.

The 27-year-old sex symbol recalls meeting the 20-year-old sensation and thinking "He looks like a child with a lot of makeup. "I was like, 'My God, you're just a little kid,'" she says.

Does Jessica realize that his audience is made up of kids and he might be trying to capitalize on that?

It's a tough time to be an 'American Idol.' Recently, season 2 winner Ruben Studdard was dropped by J Records followed by season 5 winner Taylor Hicks also getting the boot and now Katherine McPhee, runner-up to Hicks, has been dropped by her record lable, RCA

“I think the industry has seen that unless these artists can churn out strong enough original material, they don’t really have that much traction once we don’t see them on television week after week singing songs we already know and love,” Rollingstone.com editor Caryn Ganz tells Usmagazine.com.

The first pics of Jay-Z and Beyonce in 2008 have surfaced! They were seen in New York yesterday looking. . . well, I'll have you guys choose one: 1. Miserable, 2. Tired, 3. Possibly unshowered, or 4. Just ticked. From what I can see, Beyonce is completely fresh-faced here and without a stitch of makeup-- it's been a while since I've seen her like that. I like the change.

Katherine Heigl has said that sex with her husband Josh Kelley is better now than ever, saying that "It's always been phenomenal, but I think our sex life is ten times better than it was. We understand each other better. It's just a whole different ball game. You feel sheltered in the moment, whether you're being wild and crazy and you're doing your striptease...or it's just more mellow." Katherine fessed up about her these personal details in February's issue of Cosmopolitan. She couldn't stop gushing about Josh, also saying that "[He] came into my life and I realized: 'Oh my God, you're someone I can really trust and go to when things are hard'. To have that in a partner is huge." Wow-- those are some pretty powerful statements indeed. I hope Josh was flattered. . . I can't imagine laying my heart on the line like that in Cosmo. Say it ain't so! Rumor has it that Britney Spears was seen house hunting along L.A.'s Manhattan Beach after a break in Mexico. Brit and Adnan returned yesterday from their little trip and then spent some time together in her home in the Hollywood Hills. After the break, they got to house hunting, during which Britney took a pit stop at a gas station (of course), where Adnan grabbed her soda and ciggies. According to reports, the Manhattan Beach community was panicking when she was looking for a house last October. . . I wonder how they're feeling now?

English rock band Supergrass stars Gaz Coombes and Danny Goffey were joined by Carl Barat on their way into Punk last night. These guys make me want to go out tonight. In a weird way, they're the picture of fun-- a little devil-may-care, a little funky, and cool looking, too. Erg, to be that hip. It must be exhausting!
