Hollywood siren Scarlett Johansson will jet to the Middle East to boost the morale of U.S soldiers. The gorgeous 'Lost In Translation' actress will spend five days in the Gulf as part of the trip, meeting soldiers and signing autographs, the New York Post reports. "This USO tour to the Gulf region truly means a lot," Johansson said. "I've wanted to go over and visit for some time, and now my moment has arrived. "It's one thing to reply to a letter or extend your thanks to service members in a speech, but it's another thing to visit them and spend time with those who do so much for us back home." ...Well maybe! The media is rife with rumours that Britney has been dropped by rookie filmmaker Tommy Parker from his low-budget thriller Memoirs of a Medicated Child. However conflicting reports have been filed with OK magazine from a "friend" (?!?!) of the erratic star claiming that these allegations are unfounded. "She's never heard of these guys before," says the friend. "She gets offers all the time but isn't interested in any at the moment. Everyone's trying to make money off her name or by trying to be associated with her. It's a false story." However Parker tells a different story, "The rumors of Britney Spears not starring in the movie are false," "We still are in negotiations and the possiblity of Britney still being in the movie remains the same." The singer who would reportedly have played the role of the girlfriend of a misdiagnosed mental patient, to be played by Andy Dick. It is claimed that Spears' role is to go to the actress Samantha Falk (Columbo's niece), but according to Parker for a completely different role. "Samatha Falk has been cast in the movie. Her involvement in the film does not affect the part we would like Britney to play." Britney should remain optimistic though as Quentin Tarantinoino is said to want to cast Kim Kardashian, Eva Mendes and Britney in a remake of soft-porn classic 'Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!'.

It seems that Quentin Tarantino not only will be the saving grace of a budding film maker at this year's Sundance Film Festival, but also troubled star Britney Spears. Tarantino who is on the jury at this year's Sundance was reported to have said that he would love Kim Kardashian, Eva Mendes and Britney Spears to star in a remake of the 1965 soft porn classic 'Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!'. The film which was originally directed by Russ Meyers is about three strippers who take time out from the clubs to go on a rampant killing spree. "It would be great to do a remake, and casting would be easy. Top of my hit list would be Kim Kardashian and Eva Mendes. And you know what, I think Britney Spears could really work in this film.
