Heath Ledge's grieving family has spoken of their pain at the death of the Hollywood actor.
"Heath's family confirms the very tragic, untimely and accidental passing of our dearly loved son, brother and doting father of Matilda. He was found peacefully asleep in his New York apartment by his housekeeper at 3:30 p.m. U.S. time. We would like to thank our friends and everyone around the world for their well wishes and kind thoughts at this time.
Heath has touched so many people on so many different levels during his short life but few had the pleasure of truly knowing him. He was a down to earth, generous, kind-hearted, life-loving and selfless individual who was extremely inspirational to many. Please now respect our family's need to grieve and come to terms with our loss privately."

As a new day dawns here in the UK, the news of Heath Ledger's death is no less shocking. As people wait to here the out come of Heath's autopsy, thoughts turn to his family and his ex-lover Michelle Williams.
The Dawson's Cree' star has reportedly been left 'devastated' by news of her former fiancee's death. Williams, who has a two-year-old daughter Matilda with Ledger, was on location in Sweden when news of his death broke. She is now reportedly making her way back to the U.S with her daughter, People magazine reports.
"She's devastated," a source close to 27-year-old Williams said. The couple were together for three years, after meeting on the set of Brokeback Mountain, in which she played the wife of Ledger's gay cowboy character. The couple were often rumoured to be on the verge of tying the knot, but eventually split last September.
"I can't believe Matilda is going to grow up without a dad, without knowing her father," another source told People. "And that Michelle will have to deal with having a daughter who's lost her father. She's a survivor. She'll make it, but it's going to be hard. Her first concern is going to be Matilda."

Brandon Davis, who has spent most of his time enjoying the Australian summer this month, was spotted on the balcony of his luxury Sydney Hotel yesterday. His fugly a** appeared to take much joy in shouting to the paps. I'm not sure if this was a negative or positive form of shouting, but who cares.

Actor Bruce Willis looked radiant as he walked through a NYC mall showing off his new girlfriend Emma Hemming. They both looked firmly wrapped up from the chill of the winter city. I'm sure if Bruce's girl did a magazine photo shoot she wouldn't need airbrushing. (cough cough Demi).

The wife of Britney Spears' paparazzo pal Adnan Ghalib, has finaly filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences." Ghalib's wife Azlynn is insisting he pay for all attorney fees, costs and supply spousal support.
My theory why this took so long is Azlynn was waiting to see how Adnan was going to make out financially from his hook up with Britney. Now that Adnan has pretty much been cast aside, his value is plummeting and Azlynn is going to try an get as much of that Britney coin as possible for spousal support.
