Now that the Miss America Pageant has been relegated to cable TV station 'TLC' instead of a big network we can finally stop pretending that it is more than just a long-winded T&A parade. So to save you from having to sit through hours of boring television involving terrible evening gowns and useless talents, I'll be posting contestants participating in the one event we all actually want to see, the swimsuit competition. Kentucky is the land of bluegrass and where a "filly" is not just a term that refers to a female horse but also a gorgeous coed at the University Kentucky library that has probably had sex on a hay bale. So I have no idea how 21-year-old Kaitlynne Postel and her flabby post-gastric bypass surgery arms got into this competition. Don't tell me being a "top 20 finalist in Pepsi's Pass the Mic Competition" was the accomplishment that won her the state title. Miss Tennessee Grace Gore (no relation to Al) from Nashville, Tennessee claims to be 24-years-old (year right) and is working towards a doctorate of audiology at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She's a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Chancellor's List, and Summa cum laude graduate with hopes of enriching the lives of the hearing and balance-impaired population whatever the f*ck that means. This video was shot moments after Mary-Kate Olsen received a phone call telling her that Heath Ledger had passed away. The distraught star rushed out of a Los Angeles building into her chauffeured limo. There has been a lot of speculation about her involvement with Heath and today Mary-Kate released a statement to the media saying:

Heath was a friend. His death is a tragic loss. My thoughts are with his family during this very difficult time.

The Monte Carlo Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada erupted in flames at around 11 a.m. this morning. The fire spread quickly through the top floor and the hotel has since been evacuated. So far no deaths or injuries have been reported. More pictures and video to come... Picture by Scott Doctor
