J Lo Can't Stop Crying

J Lo Poses on the Red Carpet at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood
I guess hormones are getting to Jennifer Lopez, as she recently admitted that she just can't seem to get control of her emotions. "Anything that is touching makes me cry - any commercial that is sappy and silly. Things about dads make me cry, maybe because of my relationship with my own father. Any time I see anything about a dad with his little girl, and I'm over tired, I'm gone!" Awwww. Pictures by Kiley Bishop/London Ent

Mischa Barton Lays Low

Mischa Barton Poses in Ireland I had a feeling that Mischa wasn't going to go through with it. She may have been headed for Vegas but she's decided that things might be better for her if she stays out of the spotlight. I guess it took her a few extra reminders from her advisors, though! "Mischa can't give interviews on the red carpet or deal with the press right now, so they told her she can't do the event," an insider told the New York Post. Really? I think Cathouse will survive, anyway. Stock picture by Mark Doyle

Everyone's on Vacation!

Leona Lewis Goes on Vacation in the Caribbean Leona Lewis was the next celebrity basking in the sun in the Caribbean with her boyfriend. Splash caught up with her as they seemed to endlessly rearrange themselves on the beach, complete with inflatable beach toys and what looks like tons of beach chairs. Seriously, what is happening with the weather. . . everywhere? I'm getting really glad that I'm not wandering around looking miserable somewhere. :)

Gasp! A Hanna Montana Fiasco

Miley Cyrus Goes Out to Dinner at Compass

I've seen photos of Hannah Montana fans, and I never imagined that they could pull tricks like this! A six-year-old girl won tickets to a sold-out Hannah Montana concert by claiming her dad died in Iraq. A heartbreaking essay entitled "My Daddy Died This Year in Iraq" was a bit of a sham, considering that after everything was announced, the award-winner's mother admitted that it was all made up. Priscilla Ceballos, of Garland, Texas, said: "We did the essay and that's what we did to win. We did whatever we could do to win," and insisted the rules of the competition never said the essay had to be true. Okay. Except for the fact that there's probably another applicant whose dad did die. Or got hurt. Or at least was in Iraq. The things people do! Do you think the award should get taken away? The Oil Slick Appears Beachside

Brandon Davis Vacations in Hawaii Brandon Davis was also "enjoying" his Hawaiian vacation. Between him and Cuba Gooding, Jr., I don't know what's worse. What a sorry lot of vacationers! I'm just glad that Brandon made the decision to keep his t-shirt on. . . otherwise he would have straight-up won as the very worse in Hawaii. Possibly ever, if it weren't for Jason.

Heidi's Klum's Clover Fiasco

Heidi Klum Poses on the Red Carpet
Heidi Klum is being sued for allegedly ripping off designs from designers Van Cleef & Arpels. Apparently there are some rather irritated execs who believe that Klum's Mouward USA line is far too similar to the Alhambra line over at Van Cleef, and the complaint filed states that "Defendants have appropriated this design and incorporated it into their jewelry line, attempting to appropriate the goodwill built up by Van Cleef & Arpels to create their own 'symbol.'" Van Cleef is requesting more than $75,000 in damages-- just a bit more than what one of their $61,200 vintage diamond clover necklaces costs. What's your take on this whole lawsuit deal: do you think Heidi could have copied the designs after all? Stock picture by Ciao Hollywood
