Madonna is suing after she was blocked from buying a neighbour's apartment in her luxury New York building. The Material Girl has filed legal papers in Manhattan Supreme Court against the board and management company at her Central Park West apartment block.
Madge already owns a 6,000-ft duplex pad in the building, which boasts its own gym and beauty salon, but she also wanted to buy the one next door as well, to expand her living space. The summons accuses the co-op board and Midboro Management of breach of contract for allegedly holding up the sale of Julie Clark Thayer's seventh-floor apartment and orders the transfer of 868 co-op shares to the singer.
She is seeking a court order allowing the sale to go through, as well as legal fees and expenses, according to the documents. Madonna, 49, moved into the building overlooking Central Park in the city's Upper West Side after she was rejected by the board at the nearby San Remo board in 1985. A spokeswoman for Madonna was unavailable for comment today.

Forget Keira Knightley, Delta Goodrem has just knocked 'Little Miss Atonment' off the top spot with this stunning gown. The sheer material, the low cut front, the nipped in waist and the detail beading make this dress one of best from the red carpet in 2007!
Delta wasn't the only lady looking good last night. Check out the thumbnails below to see Cate Blanchett, Sophie Monk, Tara Reid and Isabel Lucas on the red carpet in Melbourne, Australia.

Holy macaroni, I never thought I would find myself saying that Keira Knightley looks absolutely GORGEOUS! Usually she's more angular than a triangles a**! But not last night.
In a revealing pink/peach dress, Keira's skin glowed while she pouted seductively for the media. My only disappointment is that not a single pout broke into a smile. But I'm sure her sexy lark takes a lot of concentration!

Jeez, who the fook invited chunky cheeks, sorry Fergie, to the Grammy nominations! Of all the people that could have turned up, she steels the limelight, urghk. Fergie also helped to read out the nominations, along with The FooFighters and Herbie Hancock (to name a few).
The 2007 Grammy Award Nomination Announcements were held at the Henry Fonda Music Box Theatre in Hollywood, and Amy Winehouse, Justin Timberlake, Kayne West, Feist, Taylor Swift, John Mayer, Seal, Gwen Stefani, Paul McCartney and Rihanna were some of the acts nominated.

Big-hearted Ben Affleck has kicked off a winter coat drive by donating his baby daughter's clothes! The Good Will Hunting star handed over the first jacket, belonging to daughter Violet on US television to Good Morning America presenter Diane Sawyer. A cold-looking Affleck explained:
"I did some work in Boston with homeless shelters and I know they're going to fall short this year, and I know how important it is just to get a coat on your back. And I know how kids can grow out of clothes so quickly, so I brought some down."
Affleck, 35, who is married to Jennifer Garner, struggled when asked what kind of coats he'd brought that belonged to the two-year-old tot. He said: "It's very nice - it's a child's coat. This is a vest, it appears. Kind of a technicolour, er... kind of a utility thing. I'm not much for the fashion."
He also handed over one of his own jackets at the New York event. The TV show teamed up with retailer Burlington Coat Factory and non-profit organisation One Warm Coat to provide good quality used coats to those who need them during the cold winter season.
