Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears' mom Lynne Spears wrote a book about parenting called 'Pop Culture Mom' and not surprisingly the Christian based publisher has delayed its' spring release with the announcement of Jaime's pregnancy.

"The book is delayed indefinitely. It's delayed, not canceled," says a spokeswoman for Thomas Nelson, which publishes inspirational books and Bibles.

Whoever pitched this book idea needs to be fired. Lynne Spears has a failed marriage, a train wreck for a daughter who also has a failed marriage and two kids by the age of 26, she was a showbiz mom (almost as bad as pageant mom), and now a 16-year-old daughter who's pregnant out of wedlock. Awesome. What's next, Hugh Hefner's book on monogamy or Amy Winehouse's 12-step program to staying sober?

Sources close to Britney have revealed that Jamie Lynn has previously experienced a pregnancy scare and turned to her big sister earlier in the year. Has this girl not heard of contraception? Although out-of-touch Spears was the last to know of her sisters baby news, she has kept secrets for her in the past. "Britney told Jamie Lynn she'd help her with anything she needed. She promised to keep her secret and not say anything." Britney screamed "My sister's not pregnant!" on a last night private shopping spree in Beverly Hills on Tuesday night. It must have been hard for Brit to hear the news from fans and photographers. On another note, Louisiana has been ranked as the 32nd highest state to have teen pregnancies. Not a bad score out of 50! ;-)

Angelina Jolie has called boyfriend Brad Pitt "extraordinary", in this weeks UK glossy magazine Grazia. Looking back on the painful memory of her mother passing, Jolie defended her frail frame over the last year and described how she found the media reports of her weight "disturbing".

"I have always been lean and this year I lost my mother and I've gone through a lot. The thing that's disturbing is that instead of people saying, 'This looks like a person that's actually dealing with something, probably from emotions.' They say, 'Does she fit into skinny jeans and look thin?'. I want people to understand who I am as a person is not somebody that's trying to look thin, but just trying to work through a very difficult year."

Angelina also revealed her partner Brad Pitt was "extraordinary" when her mother died.

"He is just a great friend and when my mother passed he was so great. He sat with me and held her hand. After she passed away he spent the night asking me and my brother about our mother and got us to tell funny stories about her. He focused on all the love and joy we were fortunate enough to have had. He was extraordinary."

Jennifer Lopez squirmed with embarrassment when "confronted" by two ex-boyfriends at a wedding, it was claimed today. The singer was among the celebrity guests at movie mogul Harvey Weinstein's wedding to British fashion designer Georgina Chapman in Connecticut last weekend. The Jenny From The Block star was enjoying several video tributes from pals who couldn't make it to the nuptials. But she was silenced when the messages from former flames Sean "Diddy" Combs and Ben Affleck flashed up on a giant screen. One guest revealed: "Jennifer was laughing at all the funny tributes. But when Diddy and Ben gave their speeches, she went silent. She looked sort of uncomfortable and people were staring at her." By now everybody is aware the Britney Spears' younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, is expecting her first child at the tender age of 16. Jamie broke the shocking news exclusively to OK!, and spent some time chatting about her fears and her future with the US celebrity magazine. The youngster also revealed that she is 12 weeks gone and named long term boyfriend Casey Aldridge as the father. She said that once she had got over the initial shock of the unplanned pregnancy, she was looking forward to be a mother, but she had no plans to marry Casey. Unlike sister Britney, 26, she said she would raise her child in her home state of Louisiana, far from Los Angeles.

"I can't say it was something I was planning to do right now, but now that it's in my lap, and that it's something I have to deal with".

She told the magazine she took a home pregnancy test before visiting a doctor to confirm the news. Jamie Lynn then told just one close friend and waited two weeks before breaking the news to her parents shortly before Thanksgiving. Asked who she told first, she said:

"It was probably Casey. He was 100 percent supportive and we figured it out. I think my whole life I would have to live with knowing what I did or didn't do. I took the time to think about it for myself, and I thought 'What would be right for me?' I put myself in this position, an adult position, so I have to act like an adult and take responsibility for what I did. I have really become at peace with the whole situation, and I think it's the right thing for me to do. It's a personal decision that everyone would have to make for themselves."

She added that she planned to bring the baby up in Louisiana, close to her Mum and Casey's family. Her comments could be interpreted as a criticism of sister Britney, whose two children were born into the full glare of the media spotlight. She added further that she hoped her mother would help her with the upbringing.

"My mom will be helping me so much! I love babies, and I have nephews that I love. I have a great mom and she has raised three kids, so if I take lessons from her, I think I'll be great."

Britney was reportedly kept in the dark about Jamie Lynn's pregnancy - and found out the news at the same time as the rest of the world. "This is going to kill her," a family friend told People magazine. "In the end, she'll be supportive, but this is a big shock." Pictures: Splash News
