Nicole Ritchie has denied reports she is smoking during her pregnancy. The reality TV star, who is carrying boyfriend Joel Madden's child, had reportedly been spotted smoking, but, speaking of the reports, she told a magazine: "False and unsubstantiated. The healthy birth of my child is my No. 1 priority." Meanwhile, Madden said that having a baby is the "most exciting thing" that has happened to him. He added further that any rumours of turmoil between he and Ritchie are not true. "[We're] really happy. Everything else that the others have printed has been completely false," he said. "Having a baby is the most exciting thing that's ever happened to me, and to us," the 28-year-old added. Good Charlotte toured through Australia, winding up on October 17. Following that, Madden and Ritchie spent "a great little getaway" in Thailand, where he said they "had a great time. Now we're just getting home, getting settled in L.A. and getting ready," he said.
