Splash caught up with Mel B as she checked out her abs while taking a break on the current series of 'Dancing with the Stars' in Los Angeles. The Spice Girl is in the last 5 of the competition after giving another top performance on US TV series. She recently powered her way through the Tango and the Mambo to keep her as one of the hot favourites to lift the crown as top celebrity dancer. Cheered on by husband, Stephen Belafonte, her latest efforts saw her score an impressive 56 out of 60 for her two dances during the show. Mel B has been busy preparing for the forthcoming Spice Girls tour, as well as practicing for the hit ABC show. Next week Dancing with the Stars moves into the semi-final stage, and Mel will be favourite to be there. The results show will tell all on Tuesday. Pictures: Pete Whittle

I was going to use this space to rant about all the a**holes out there that insist on showing up for work or just even interacting with the human race when they're sick and suffering from the flu (is there anything more selfish than making everyone around you sick because you're such d*ck that you can't take two days off to recuperate but instead they spread their germs around the office with every cough, sneeze, sniffle, and unwashed hand touching everything around the office?) But because it is such slow day for anything newsy or non-Britney I have been obsessessing over these pictures of Jennifer Garner at the American Lung Association "Faces of Influenza" event (so much so that I didn't even notice Dean Cain was there). It might be an unflattering outfit but because it seems like everyone in Hollywood is getting pregnant, is pregnant, or giving birth I can't get it out of my head that Jennifer has what looks like to be the beginning of a baby bump. What do you guys think? Do Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have another bun in the oven?
