"R&B superstar Alicia Keys can understand why she was labeled a lesbian at the beginning of her career - because she was ‘rough around the edges’. The singer’s sexuality was the subject of much speculation after the release of her 2001 debut album Songs In A Minor. “I was definitely rough around the edges. I look back at certain interviews and I’m like, ‘Damn! Did I have to look that hard? Did I have to do my hair that way? I could see why people couldn’t see the diamond in the rough. I didn’t take it to heart. I know what I am. I know it’s not true.â€â€I never got the lesbian vibe from her, did you guys?

Ummm yeah. I always did and still do think she is a straight up Top. She was very butch. It wasn't until recently that she started to sand paper them edges. I'm still not convinced though.
I have to say my gaydar is a bit out of practise but it tingles a little when i see her.
If you look closely at her eyes, then back off and study her whole face, you see a teeny tranny tinge.

PLEASE!!! Just because she iz real chill and mellow and not hype and out there with her relationship, like other singers, dont mean she gay. She just said she aint gay and what she got to lie 4, leave her the hell alone!!!
