After watching The City last night with Whitney Port's ridiculous Manhattan pad, I'm feeling awfully jealous and mystified about how she can be so lucky. To make it worse, we've caught Kate Hudson yet again leaving her home in the West Village, where we'd all like to have a spacious flat, too. If only things were as easy as they are on TV. . . or as they are in these photos!

Possibly engaged Lily Allen enjoyed another afternoon of
banter with the paparazzo today as she walked with her band mates in
London's Notting Hill. The pop star's entourage looked happier than
usual, even pulling a few funny faces, probably because the
Smile singer thinks doing cocaine is totally cool! Seriously, if you hit the slopes to cruise your way through a few moguls,
it's not really a bid deal, according Allen.
The only story is that drugs are bad and they will kill you
- you will
become a prostitute, a rapist or a dealer. But that's not true. I know
lots of people that take cocaine three nights a week and get up and go
to work everyday, no problem at all.
But we never hear that side of the story. I have no statement to make,
I just wish people wouldn't sensationalise this thing that just exists.
Listen kids, coke does not do a
body good. You grind your teeth, talk really loudly about stupid crap
thinking it's the most mind blowing stuff but you don't have the
attention span to stick with your theory, since you're freaking high,
we never learn why a balloon knot is the perfect representation of the
universe. You also get that awful nasal drip thing down the back of
your throat that constantly makes you feel like you need to clear it,
disgusting everyone around you who's not high.
Oh, and you could end up blowing tramps for tin cans, which you then
exchange for money to buy more coke so you can snort it off the rat poo
covered floor of a crack den and then eventually pass out and die in a
gutter.

Matthew Broderick's unwittingly indulging in my secret scooter fantasies, and it looks like he could probably use the exercise after some holiday indulgence (couldn't we all?). Matthew looked none too pleased to be snapped after he dropped his son James off at school in a cab-- rough morning? It looks like his friend was even worse off-- he flipped us off as the two walked the city streets.

Blake Lively was spotted looking like New York was not treating her well on location for Gossip Girl, hence the double coffee holding and shoulder hunching! The stylish actress and admitted clothes horse looked like she'd rather be dressed down in a full-length puffer or with a mountain of blankets around her as she sat chattering on a Central Park bench.
Does Blake get to wear the better outfits on the show? Sometimes I think she does-- and she carries over that stylish sense to her personal life as well. Um, along with all the freebies, I'm sure.

Samantha Ronson has London-based fam, so she must be craving something that hails from closer to home! We caught her in her wild studded boots at Irish Food just a little while after declining to comment on her relationship status. After she grabbed a few things, she was seen going to the bodyshop to discuss car problems.
Samantha seems to be more low-key about all these relationship rumors. Lindsay needs to follow suit!

Evidently Marcia Cross was feeling extremely happy at the thought of jetting out of Los Angeles International Airport yesterday. The stunning red head willingly posed for the waiting paparazzi and even cuddled up to her husband Tom Mahoney in front of our shutterbugs - she must be heading somewhere fantastic - any suggestions folks?
