Update: Kevin Federline has just left court flashing a big smile for all the press, media, and paparazzi to see. No word yet on what transpired except that K-Fed and Britney must appear back in court on October 26th. Does this mean K-Fed has sole custody until then? More to follow! Update 2: It looks like K-Fed is retaining full custody but Britney has been granted visitation rights. Kevin Federline has arrived at court, despite wearing an eye patch, but so far Britney Spears is a no show. Last minute Taco Bell run maybe?

Alex Rodriguez, Yankee's third baseman, future Hall of Famer, and "Mr. Pre-season," announced that he and his wife Cynthia are expecting a baby.

"Cynthia and I are overjoyed to announce this addition to our family," says the athlete. “We realize what a special gift children are, and feel very blessed to welcome our second child."

Hey A-Rod, you know what would make me "overjoyed?" If you got more than one hit this post-season.

Everything seemed fine when Alli Sims and Britney Spears checked out of the Peninsula Hotel yesterday but news is breaking now that Alli has had enough and jumped ship.

In Touch learned exclusively that Britney's biggest defender, her assistant Alli Sims, packed her bags and abruptly moved out of Brit's Malibu home this morning — and possibly out of her life. Insiders tell In Touch that she has finally had enough. "Alli wants her own life and own career," says one. "She can't take anymore of the drama."

This is not good, she has no one left in her life. I think someone might want to make a quick run over to Britney's place to make sure she's not floating face down in her pool right now.
