Part-time English soul singer and full-time lorry wreck, Amy Winehouse, has been arrested in Norway for pot possession.

The Rehab singer, her husband Blake Fielder-Civil and an unnamed British man were arrested last night at a hotel in Bergen in southwestern Norway, where Winehouse is currently on a European tour, after a tip to the police. "They were found with seven grams of marijuana," prosecutor Lars Morten Lothe said. After spending the night in custody, the couple paid a fine of €500 (£349) and were released. The unnamed man was also released after paying a fine. "She's paid the fine, so this thing is over for us now," Lothe said. "It is a closed case."

That's it? seven grams of weed? Did they search her? What about her hair? I know she had to be holding more than that.

Praise Jeebus! This morning I woke up not in the best of spirits, I'm a little hungover from too many mai tais and I have a bad case of "Wii Arm," but there is a ray of hope this morning courtesy of the FBI who are investigating glorified panhandler magician David Copperfield.

"We understand there is an investigation, are in touch with the investigators, and are respecting the confidentiality of the investigation," Copperfield's attorney David Chesnoff said in a statement cited by Las Vegas broadcasters.

The FBI reportedly found $2 million in cash and confiscated a hard drive and a memory card from a digital camera. I wonder what's on that hard drive David? Could it be something related to a certain Seattle woman who claims you raped her while in the Bahamas? Or has the United States Government finally wised up to the fraudulent activities you and your magician kind have been perpetrating night in and night out to take money out of the pockets of naive Mid-Westerners.
