The long-awaited inquest into the mysterious death of Anna Nicole Smith's son was delayed again - this time by the threat of a hurricane. More than one year after Daniel Smith died, proceedings to find out exactly what happened - and if anyone was to blame - finally got underway. But less than two hours later the inquest, which had been held back for months was once again adjourned for almost a month. This time it was the threat from a deadly tropical storm that has formed in the Caribbean. The inquest will resume for two days in November, before being given a full week in December. Earlier, as she arrived at the court with her team, Virgie Arthur said: "I'm glad to be here. I hope this starts the proceedings of justice." And her attorney Neil McCabe said one of the questions of the inquest would be whether Stern is "a victim or perpetrator". Daniel died on September 10 last year, age 20, just three days after his sister was born at the same hospital. His mother died five months later. An autopsy identified the cause of death as respiratory depression brought on by a lethal combination of drugs - including enough methadone to kill someone eight times over. At the end of the proceeding, the panel can make recommendations for criminal charges if they feel someone is criminally responsible for his death. "We of course have our own ideas," he said, adding they were looking at bringing legal action "in that regard". He had previously said Stern, who they are already suing for defamation, might be on the receiving end of further legal action.

Ho I forget,as long as you are paying for VA you should ask her to put dark color instead of white!!!she look more ugly and more big.
If I was at the inquest of my grandchild, smiling in front of camera she look like.....I hope she is not thinking she a portait of Anna Nicole. Anna Nicole was a beauty,VERGIE TABER IS EXACLY THE OPPOSITE!!!

Virgie is not after justice. She has only one thing on her mind - The Marshall Estate- Howard Stern is not guilty of these false allegations made by this "attorney"

I agree with Virgie, something is fishy here. And who has the biggest motive to ice Daniel and Anna----HOWARD, he's the executor, living off her, and sleeping with Larry, they got rid of her and kept her belongings. Sad, I'm glad to see Virgie persuing, GO VIRGIE GO!!!!

It's good that someone is there to represent ANNA and DANIEL, Howard got fed up with being her lap dog and got rid of her so he and Larry could live happily ever after. THis is defintely better than any script Hollywood writers could come up with. And maybe Anna was in on it!! I don't believe she wanted Daniel to die, but when you are into schemes it could back fire on you.

Neil McCabe was never charged with sexual assault. He did win a defamation suit against the former student.
