Socialite and UNICEF UK embassador Jemima Khan did a little visiting today in North London. Wow, what a difference from a U.S. socialite. Jemima Khan's the daughter of a billionaire and her uncle is a Marquess, but she's wearing sneakers while doing something other than shopping. Culture shock time!

He looked like such a-- dare I say fashionisto?-- in the floppy cap and holey jeans. Ah, the life of an effortless fashionable dresser! Doesn't it look like he's scrutinizing the clothes of the passerby here?

Here we have it: after deliberation that seemed to last forever, actor Lane Garrison was sentenced today to 40 months in prison as a result of the fatal car crash that killed 17-year old Vahagn Setian’s in Beverly Hills last December. Splash was at the Los Angeles Superior Court for Lane Garrison's sentencing today, where we caught these photos of victim Vahagn Setian's family and friends outside the courthouse. Garrison pleaded guilty on May 21 to vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence and driving under the influence. He also admitted to providing alcohol to a minor and having a blood-alcohol level of .15 or above. Garrison lawyer Harland Braun submitted to the press that the actor "accepted the sentence" and called it "perfectly appropriate." Lane is not expected to appeal the sentence, which I think many of you who commented here might appreciate. The judge said that his lower sentence was due to his lack of a previous criminal record and the fact that he accepted the charges right away. The best part of the whole story is this: now there are debates about how much of the sentence Garrison will actually have to serve. His lawyer Braun speculated that he'll serve 50% of the sentence, while Deputy District Attorney Joseph Markus expects him to serve 85% of it. Hmm, what about 100%? That's not an option any more?

It has been a while since we've taken a look at what's going on with Sex and the City filming in New York, but Splash caught up with the cast to see what's going on. While let's just say most of the SATC stars aren't spring chickens-- and I love them for their crazy fashion and style even though they're a bit more mature-- Kim Cattrall (the "old one") looks the best by far. Eeek. What is going on with SJP? There's something happening here that I'm just not digging.

Britney should be thanking her lucky stars that Alli Sims is around for damage control, but sometimes even she can't fix things when they're going pear-shaped. Britney's interview today with Ryan Seacrest was headed up by Alli, who answered quite a few questions as Brit flitted in and out of the room. My favorite part? That was definitely when Britney jumped in the shower while the interview was still going on. "Oh, she's in the shower," Alli said as the DJ asked if Britney had a message for her fans. "Do you want to call us back?" But that's not all! Nope, the Britney show just keeps on going (as always), and she didn't seem to share much enthusiasm with her fans regarding her new album. Wow. This is a perfect example of why Anna, Chris and I have to look at photos of our favorite celebs objectively. Kylie may be one of my personal favorites, but these leather pants and open-toed mules are killing me. Splash caught up with Kylie leaving her posh Chelsea pad today. She may have stopped to sign some autographs, but she was really headed to a TV studio to promote her raunchy new single "Two Hearts." That's still not an excuse for the pants.
