A non smiling Britney Spears took her first nervous steps out in public after her disastrous performance in Las Vegas at the VMA awards yesterday. Accompanied by Ali Simms, she had just returned home after a 4 hour visit at the Century City offices of her lawyer Laura Wasser. Where, on Jayden James' birthday, she handed over both her sons to ex hubby Kevin Federline in line with their custody agreements. Britney, after fighting peak hour traffic home, entered the grounds of her palatial estate and then apparently changed her mind, did an about turn and drove to a local supermarket to grab some items. Wearing a pretty ankle length floral dress, flip flops and a very expensive Gianni Versace couture handbag, Britney, seemed shocked by the media onslaught as she stepped out of her black German sportscar. I just hope she can turn it around. We'd all rather see her swim than sink.

The starlet off the summer, Hayden Panettiere, was spotted nipping out the back of the swanky Beverly Hills salon 'Thibiant'. Her hair didn't look particularly any different, so we guess she was just in for a trim.

Chris, look away, Victoria Beckham has been spotted stepping out again in a red/orange dress! Our dedicated papsters caught up with the fashionista as she left her Lowell Hotel of New York City in a media frenzy last night. The usual well prepared star, was caught out as she found herself adjusting her dress in front of the cameras. She then made her way through the city streets and on to freeway to LAX airport. Upon arriving back in L.A, Victoria Beckham was greeted by another group of snappers, and was again chased through Los Angeles Airport by the waiting paparazzi. I don't know how she copes with it!!

We caught up with Courtney Love as she packed in some shopping time before she left the city and headed to the airport at JFK. As I look at these pictures, I'm unsure whether Courtney's kooky ways are entertaining or just a little bit freaky. I mean, am I the only one that thinks there is something quite creepy about her red gloves? Check out the photo with her in the car before you make your decision.

It appears the best place to grab a shot of David Arquette is at work, he can't run away! I was in fear of forgetting what he looked like, what with his constant attempts to hide from the cameras. But David became one of boys last night as paps and camera crews hung out together, while he directed Limp Bizkit front man Fred Durst in a pilot for an upcoming television show in Hollywood.
