Pregnant Nicole Richie was spotted getting a helping hand from her beau Joel Madden as she arrived at LAX yesterday. The couple, who say they don't know if they are having a girl or boy yet, arrived in a chauffer driven SUV and were rushed through the airport to catch a flight. I wonder what the queues of people made of that? In the video Nicole looks a little glum as she goes through security. As she turns to look at Madden she gives him an cold look before walking away without waiting for him.

Troubled Britney Spears took her son on a shopping spree in Beverly Hills yesterday, but sadly it looks like all the cameras were a little to much for the little lad. Brit, dressed in black summer dress, took a quick stroll along trendy Robertson Boulevard - Los Angeles' most photographed celebrity hangout - where she was swarmed by paparazzi. With her son Jayden crying in her arms the star slipped into designer clothing shop Adriano Goldschmied to pick up some items. She changed into a more comfy pair of jeans and a classy cardigan before fighting her way back past the paps to her car. Was it a good decision for Britney to be seen with her sons, or was it a wrong to be snapped by the worlds media considering the legal battle she is currently facing? One onlooker said: "If there was a time to stay at home and lay low, this was it. It still hasn't hit home that she could lose her children. She certainly hasn't been acting like someone on her best behaviour."

A manhunt is underway for a suspect who is still at large after two students were shot at Delaware State University in the US around 1 am this morning. Classes have been cancelled for the day and everyone on the campus has been told to stay in their buildings. The two victims, a male and a female, have been taken to hospital. The male student is in a stable condition, and the female has serious injuries, a statement on the university's website said. "Because the suspect is still at large, residential students are directed to remain in their residence halls for their safety until further notice. We haven't had a chance to talk to them yet, and that's probably a big reason why the suspect is still at large," university spokesman Carlos Holmes told local television. This will bringing back shuddering memories of the Virginia Tech shootings in April. Where 32 students were shot dead by gunman Seung-Hui Cho, before he killed himself.

Rapper Snoop Dogg has escaped jail after pleading guilty to carrying a 'deadly' weapon. But as a result he was sentenced to three years probation, 160 hours of community service and will also be required to make a $10,000 donation to a charity!! The rapper pleaded guilty to carrying a collapsible baton - which is classed as a deadly weapon - in his carry-on baggage as he traveled through John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, California, last year. Snoop said at the time of his arrest that the baton was not a weapon but a prop he was using in a musical performance (ha ha, get real). His attorney, Donald Etra, said his client agreed to plead guilty because he wanted to get back to making music. "It was our position from the beginning that this was not a weapon, but a prop." Etra said. "Snoop wants to get this behind him, he wants to make music, not court appearances."
