Nicole Richie seems to making the most of her chilled out Hawaiian surroundings on her birthday weekender with beau, Joel Madden. The mother to be looked yummy in a khaki green bikini whilst splashing around in the sea. Now I'm not sure if the Richie-Madden clan are having issues because every picture I've come across since Friday, the couple look a wee bit glum and Joel is acting more like on site security opposed to loving fiance / baby daddy. Also he doesn't appear to have changed clothes since yesterday and quite frankly his attire is a bit grim. Ah well at least he's there which is more than I can say for other baby daddies.

I bet actor Donald Faison of Scrubs fame and girlfriend, Cacee Cobb (she's Jessica Simpson's former assistant you know) wished they had checked the weather before ordering take out at the Griddle Cafe in West Hollywood. The couple didn't really seem too bothered though, I think they were more focused on getting home before their pancakes got cold. I've just had a look at the website and let's just say I'm having a Homer moment ... "pancakes!" [super drool].

Val Kilmer is a busy bee these days. It's a wonder he has time to enjoy the sights of Madison Avenue, New York with a mystery friend. The hard working actor has not one, not two, but a whooping NINE acting gigs lined up in the wings. According to my favourite movie database - IMDB, Val is fully booked up until 2009 and is in negotitations to make a video game version of the Michael Mann 1995 classic, Heat.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony stepped out in black looking like quite the couple yesterday. They left the Dorchester Hotel and were met by the crowd that had gathered outside. . . and then they waved! Jennifer may be a diva, but she still gives people the acknowledgment they've earned after hanging out all day waiting to catch a glimpse of her. I'm staring at every picture of Jennifer looking for another hint of a bump, just in case. If I find one, I will let you know! I'm a belly-bump bloodhound at this point.

For her age, people. Dame Helen Mirren presented "In the Frame: My Life in Words and Pictures" at Waterstones in Piccadilly Circus, London yesterday and looked great. Seriously, that dress is absolutely perfect for her, so perfect that I'm not even interested in those amazing eye wrinklies she has going on. My consensus: Helen Mirren rocks, and lots of people half her age could probably learn a trick or two from her and look a heck of a lot better.

I can't believe that Brooke Hogan is so young. Whenever I see her, I think she looks at least a decade older. But she still reminds me of Cameron Diaz in a good way, so things could be worse (I guess). It looks like Brooke was also feeling friendly and gave us a happy wave yesterday in Soho in New York. We've been doing quite well in the acknowledgment department, since we got a wave from Jennifer, Kingston, and Gwen in just a few days. Oh yeah, and Brooke's shirt is completely see-through in the sunlight!
