While word is spreading courtesy of the New York Daily News that Lindsay Lohan could be checking out of the Cirque Lodge rehab center in Utah this weekend a drug addiction treatment center has taken out full page advertisements in newspapers urging her to check out of rehab and seek medical help. The Canterbury Institute, in New Jersey is responsible for the ads and wants Lohan to seek specialized medical help to conquer her drug and alcohol problems because they claim most rehab clinics are unsuccessful.

It's time to consider a medical treatment for your drug or alcohol addictions. While the rest of the world is going in and out of rehab, Canterbury Institute is changing the rules of addiction treatment.

Personally I think this is a low blow and an attempt to gain publicity for their 'institute' on the back of Lohan's drug and alcohol problems (but what do I know, I'm just some guy that sits in front of a computer and likes to drink my weight in Arrogant Bastard Ale on the weekends and sometimes weekdays). What do you guys think, is the Canterbury Institute the next big thing in celebrity rehabilitation or shameless advertising plug?
