Yesterday a serious but happy Angelina attended a Press Conference on Global Education at Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting. While Maddox was busy improving his French at school, Jolie participated in the Promise of Education in Conflict and Post Conflict Situations in NYC. A smartly dressed Angelina looked frail, but as usual she remained assertive in her role as UN Ambassador. The mother of four was brought to tears as she recalled meeting an 8-year-old boy on her last trip to Syria who had been set on fire & dumped in the trash. Aside from Jolie's heart felt moments, she still had time to flirt with Ex-President Clinton and his pals. Watch out Brad!

Guess who Splash caught up with outside a Mexican restaurant in L.A? You guessed it, taco-munching Britney Spears. Despite her newly knotted in hair extensions, Britney looked pretty chic in some navy blue shorts and demure top. Considering her recent chaotic restroom stop, Spears appeared to be in great spirits. I guess those taco shells are great for catching tears. Britney could also be seen holding a CD as she made her way to a recording studio (was MTV not enough to put her off?!) Oh and surprise, surprise little cousin Ali Sims was there to bask in Britney's limelight once again.

For a lady with a painful foot, Sarah Larson appears to be having a great time! Over the last few days she has been hopping all over the joint, including posh dinner dates with George Clooney and star studded red carpet arrivals. I guess Sarah's foot won't limit her enjoying George's wallet while she can.

David Beckham has made a mercy dash to London to be with his sick father. Ted, a 58-year-old kitchen fitter, who has had a strained relationship with his son in the past, is believed to have suffered a heart attack, but David has still lovingly rushed to his side. The new LA Galaxy star was visibly upset as he arrived at Los Angeles International Airport and dashed through the terminal carrying just a small holdall. "He was wearing sunglasses but you could tell he had been crying," one eyewitness said. "He had red marks around his eyes and was clearly in a hurry." Dressed in jeans, a white T-shirt and leather jacket, Beckham rushed straight to airport security without checking in. "David was allowed to go ahead of all the other passengers," the eyewitness said. "He did not have to check-in as normal. I don't think anyone minded at all. Everyone is just wishing him and his father the best. It was a very sad sight to see." Beckham is not thought to have spoken to his father recently, and Ted Beckham was previously very vocal about his concerns for his son's fame and relationship with ex-Spice Girl Victoria. He also released a 2005 book entitled David Beckham: My Son without consulting the footballer.

Uma Thurman has gone from being in a 'Deadly Viper Assassination Squad' to riding a kids scooter in a cream hat and cardigan, but in the typical Uma way she still looks good doing it! We couldn't raise a smile from Miss Thurman, but we still thought she looked radiant as she whizzed around on her scooter in NYC. She should have got a motorized one though, that way she would have had better luck out pacing us!

The sexy star was spotted looking laid back as she cooled off with a bottle of water, but with her sheer vest I'm sure she was raising a few temperatures herself. Later she was spotted returning to her friends house in the Financial District.
