Eddie Murphy's new fiancée has revealed the attraction between her and the Hollywood star began two months before he reportedly dumped Spice Girl Mel B. In a frank interview Tracey Edmonds has confessed the couple had been friends for years but met up again at a luncheon in October 2006 when the sparks flew. Tracy Edmonds spoke candidly to the US magazine Jet revealing how her romance with Murphy began. Although the couple had known each other for years the attraction between them wasn't apparent until October 2006. That month Murphy and Edmonds bumped into each other at the launch party for Our Stories Films - a new Black film studio. But in Mel B's version of events, she didn't know her relationship with Eddie was over until he publicly dumped her in December 2006 - via a TV interview. Did Tracy thing things were over with Mel already or Tracy convince Eddie to dump Mel B?

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has checked into rehab in Utah. Apparently she has entered the Cirque Lodge drug and alcohol treatment centre in Sundance, US entertainment show the Insider claims. If the rumours are true, this would be her third stint in rehab, following previous stays at Wonderland and Promises in the Los Angeles area. Lohan has not been spotted since her second DUI arrest this year and reports circulated this weekend that the actress had snuck to her mother's house in Long Island, New York. But now, according to the Insider, Lohan has checked into the Cirque Lodge rehab centre in Utah, reporting that her intense rehab programme will last at least 30 days. The lodge was recently named by Town and Country Magazine as one of the top substance abuse treatment facilities in the world, caring for both drug and alcohol addicts. The rooms are built for comfort, with both private and shared rooms featuring down duvets and pillows, and reading and relaxation areas. They also have fireplaces or wood-burning stoves, and large bathrooms with slate tile and jetted tubs. Baywatch star David Hasselhoff, sober and smiling, hosted an event at Malibu's Polaroid beach house yesterday for his charity "Club Baywatch". The charity which exposes underprivileged children to the ocean and water activities played host to a party of about 20 children and family for the day.David had great fun helping the kids to surf the waves and could be seen with former Baywatch star David Chokachi taking pictures of some of the children before bursting into fits of laughter. "The Hoff" also took the opportunity to promote his new show Americas Got Talent by dressing the children in shirts with the shows slogan. More pics after the jump

I love seeing happy family shots! A nice break from the usual drunk, rehab, court battle stories that splash our pages! Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are ones to keep them selves to them selves so it's great to get a peek into their life together. Yesterday we spotted the couple with son James as they spent the day in the Hamptons. Matthew had great fun riding the waves and lifting up a goggled James. After one big wave James looked a little confused as he surfaced and mum Sarah ran to him laughing. Sadly she couldn't join in with the boys as she has a bandaged arm because of a burn.
