Dax Shepard, thrust into the middle of the Owen Wilson attempted suicide drama, arrived at John F. Kennedy (JFK) airport last night without girlfriend Kate Hudson.I half-heartedly said that his relationship with Hudson might be one of the reasons Wilson tried to take his life but Star magazine is still cruising along that trail.

After they split around Memorial Day weekend, sources say, he dated a number of beauties – but the relationships were empty and unfulfilling, and Owen was overwhelmed by unhappiness and depression.

friends say he was deeply upset by his split with Kate, who he met while filming You, Me and Dupree. The pair had a six-month fling that ended Kate’s marriage to Black Crow's singer Chris Robinson. Wilson prompted the break-up with Kate after they argued about his wild ways — but it is believed he now regrets doing so and has not been seen dating anyone else.

We ran into Fergie on her way to the Neil George Salon in Beverly Hills. She claimed she was having a bad hair day (which explains the white hat) but after two hours in the salon, the Black Eyed Pea emerged with a big smile and a luscious set of locks. I want to apologize to Fergie and all her fans. I think I have been a little harsh on homegirl. I know her face can be a little creepy at times and I'm not a fan of her music but I have to give it up to her; she actually seems like a genuinely nice and down to earth person. The recently deceased "Queen of Mean" Leona Helmsley has left her dog "Trouble"$12 million, billions to charity and absolutely nothing to her 12 grandchildren.

Helmsley didn't completely turn over a new leaf in her later years, however - two of the family members to whom she left bequests were left less than Trouble, and she pointedly excluded two of her grandkids, Craig and Meegan Panzirer, "for reasons which are known to them," the filing says. None of her 12 great-grandchildren is mentioned at all.

"Jackass" star Bam Margera hit up celebrity hot spot KOI for dinner with his wife Jenn Rivell and legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk. Bam's Uncle Vito aka "Don Vito" was just released on bail from a Colorado jail and faces charges he fondled three girls between the ages of 13 and 15.Bam obviously needs a refresher course on how the legal system works because bail does not equal settlement and I'm sure the "small town layers" are going to take offense to you accusing them of a witch hunt.Oh and nice tattoo dude.
