You probably all agree that post-prison Paris Hilton is exactly the same as pre-prison Paris. She claims that prison had 'changed' her in some way but in reality, it's all an act and the New York Post has uncovered her attempt at getting some good publicity.

"Paris hired a crisis publicist because of all the negative attention after she got out of jail. But it's just for her public image," one Hollywood insider said. After Hilton's stint in jail, she abandoned longtime publicist Elliot Mintz for Sitrick, who's handled Ryan Phillipe, Rush Limbaugh and Naomi Campbell during their own scandals. Since then, in addition to dressing more like a classy socialite and avoiding late-night stumbles out of Hollywood clubs, Hilton - who now parties away from the cameras in her Malibu house - has stopped her longtime habit of chatting with photographers.

Paris may have a different definition of the word 'change,' but all she's done this summer is party at her Malibu beach house, strut around in her bikini, and get caught smoking something that does not look like a traditional cigarette. Clutching a few babies and kissing your dog for the camera does not make you a better person. Going down to the homeless shelter and handing out soap, blankets, clothes, and food does. Until then Paris, you will be the same spoiled heirhead we have all come to know and equate with the rampant consumerism and vapid behavior that seems to have a stranglehold on Hollywood. Grow up Paris, if you want to make a change then do it. You can't pay people to do it for you.

After months of covering her belly with bags, books, and loose fitting dresses, Nicole Richie stepped out last night in a sheer, see-through shirt, showing off her prominent baby bump. She had dinner in New York City with Mischa Barton and her boyfriend, Good Charlotte rocker, Joel Madden. It's great that Nicole is proud of her pregnancy but I really don't need to see that. Victoria Beckham says she's settled down to life in L.A in a postcard from America! Posh posted a the message to fans on her website blog last night and the entry gives a peek behind the gates of the couple's new mansion. The post reads:

"Hope you are all well. Well we have finally unpacked our boxes and I am loving our new house - it is totally major! Just adding some of the finishing touches to it actually and then it really will feel like home. On top of that the weather here has been amazing too so we are all a happy bunch. The boys are really looking forward to starting their new school so we've got to make sure they are all kitted out with new schoolbags and pencil cases - you remember what it's like going back to school, you've got to have a new everything!"

She ads further, "David and myself attended a launch last week in Bel Air (very swish) for the launch of our latest fragrance Intimately Beckham, we met lots of people there and I thought it went really well. On top of that I have been busy having a good look around LA, checking out the restaurants and the beauty parlours - well you never know when you might need a facial! I'm also just starting work on my new dVb denim collection - I'm really excited about starting the next project - it's going to be totally major so keep your eyes open for that.
