Owen Wilson is being treated in a Los Angeles area hospital after apprently attempting to commit suicide by slashing his wrists and overdosing on pills. Police and an ambulance responded to a 911 call from Owen's house around noon on Sunday.

The National Enquirer reported that Wilson was also going to be treated for the drugs he had ingested. The report said: "Andrew found him after the suicide attempt and called an ambulance. "Both of Owen's wrists were slashed superficially and Owen had taken an overdose of pills. "Owen was found with a nearly empty bottle of pills next to him. He was at his house in Santa Monica." Wilson's brothers Andrew and Luke are believed to be at the star's bedside.

This is really sad, suicide is not the answer. I hope Owen gets the help he needs.

Son of Hulk Hogan Nick Bollea who also goes by the name Nick Hogan was involved in a very serious car crash last night in Clearwater Florida. Nick was the driver of his yellow Toyota Supra and had to be cut out of the car with the jaws of life. Hulk showed up at the scene almost immediately and watched his son get flown out by a helicopter to hospital. We'll keep you updated on any major changes. More pics after the jump
