David Beckham is vacationing in the south of France with his family and managed to get away for morning bike ride. Nice to see that Becks is keeping fit before his debut with the Los Angeles Galaxy on July 21. Tune to probably ESPN to see his debut against Chelsea.

Every year we throw a huge 4th of July party and lately we've had a local band play. It all started when South Bay punk legends "
The Smut Peddlers" played our front yard, earning us a mention in the local paper. Since then, it's become an annual event. This year, on top of the requisite 5 kegs, local band
F-Loder played accompanied by a few members of the legendary South Bay punk band, "
The STD's."
It was mayhem. That's the only way I can describe it. So that is how I spent my 4th of July, what did you do?

According to US reports, troubled Britney Spears hired a private eye to record her mothers phone calls. Britney is said to have flipped after the investigator presented proof that mum Lynne was still in close contact with the pop star's ex-husband Kevin Federline.
It came as she was already devastated because she felt Lynne had pushed her into rehab. Britney then delivered a CD of the phone recordings - along with a poem telling her that she wanted nothing more to do with her, according to Star magazine. She also accuses her mum of abusing prescription drugs, and falling asleep when she looks after the star's sons Sean Preston, 21 months, and Jayden James, nine months.
Called "Dear Momma", the poem told Lynne "that she didn't have a mum anymore and she couldn't imagine a mother doing what she did to her child," a source told Star. Spears delivered the verse, along with legal papers, to her mother on June 28 on the set of sister Jamie Lynn's television show, "Zoey 101."
"Britney said, 'Here Momma, I just wanted to see your face,'" a source told Star. "Then she got into her car and drove off. Lynne went into the trailer and broke down in tears." The CD reportedly contained recordings of phone conversations between Lynne Federline in which the two are apparently working in cahoots. "Kevin told Lynne that he had everything under control," adds the source. "He was just going to let Britney hang herself in court."
The source said: "Britney thinks that everyone sits at Kevin's house and has one big laugh at her expense. She wants to put an end to this by humiliating her mother publicly. Lynne loves both Britney and Kevin, and is afraid of she doesn't agree to Britney's demands, she may never have a relationship with her grandsons or her daughter."

According to US reports, Brad Pitt is planning a secret lunch date with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston - to introduce his daughter Shiloh. Brad is reportedly using his mother Jane's close contact with the former Friends' star to arrange the get together - behind current love Angelina Jolie's back.
Insiders say the lunch date will infuriate Jolie as she has made it clear that she wants Brad to have nothing to do with his ex-wife. Star magazine in the U.S. says Brad wants to introduce Shiloh because he thinks it will "make Jen melt". (Is he trying to rub it in?)
"Brad wants to tell Jen that he cares for her and always will" a source close to Brad told Star magazine. "And he's like to hear her say that she forgives him." The source admits that such a meeting will make Jolie furious.
"Angie would rather Brad leave things where they are. She doesn't give a hoot about Jen or her feelings. But Brad does what Brad wants."
Star says Brad plans to invite Angelina along - knowing she will not go.

We all know that Paula Abdul often acts a little crazy, so when she broke down in tears on her new reality show, it didn't come as a surprise. Dropping her guards, she claimed that people treat her like 'a piece of dog sh*t.'
The 'American Idol' judged sobbed as she talked to her publicist about recent press coverage of her alleged drink and drug issues. "I've been treated like a piece of dog sh-t, that's what I live with every single day and then I'm supposed to be like, 'Oh, I'm having a happy day.' I'm not this cry baby who cries for no reason but this is big stuff and I'm being screwed over. I have to swallow everything. I'm tired of it and I'm losing my reputation. It's not okay anymore."
It's funny that poor Paula thinks she isn't a cry baby. Last month on the same TV show 'Hey Paula!' she also cried, raising her hands in to the air shouting "I'm exhausted". Then at the end of May she was spotted leaving her L.A mansion crying uncontrollably, after the media caught wind that she had broken her nose. Then again in February she cried on Dr Phil's show saying she was desperate for love.
Paula claims in her new U.S. series 'Hey Paula' that her often bizarre behavior is down to insomnia. Critics, however, claim the show is a PR stunt to stop persistent rumors suggesting the 45-year-old Grammy winner has problems with various substances.
