Jessica Simpson has landed back home in Austin, Texas with her dog Daisy and the only man she's been able to keep, her father Joe Simpson. Maybe that last sentence should read "the only man she can't get rid off."

Once again Hollywood is going to re-introduce us to a movie/story we have all seen, heard, or read more than enough times already, this time, be prepared for the classic Charles Dickens story "A Christmas Carol" starring Jim Carrey who plans on playing Scrooge, the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present and the Ghost of Christmas Future. Do you know why Eddie Murhpy insists on playing all the roles in his movies Jim? Because no one wants to work with him and he has an ego the size of Texas. Good luck with this one, people are going to be p*ssed if this sucks. I can't wait to ignore this movie when it comes out. On a side note, Carrey and his girlfriend Jenny McCarthy look very happy and in love when they hit the beach with their two new labrador puppies yesterday. More pics after the jump!

Jennifer Garner is back on the mainland looking happy and rested after a two week vacation in Hawaii. Looks like Jennifer is back to work since we spotted her coming out of Revolution Studios in Santa Monica Ca after a meeting. I couldn't find her name attached to anything new with Revolution Studios name on it but they're responsible for a previous movie of hers, "13 Going On 30" and the box office bomb "Gigli," which starred her husband Ben Affleck. Fall Out Boy performed on The Today show this morning live from their studios in Rockefeller Center. They performed "This Ain't a Scene It's an Arms Race," "Thks Fr The Mmrs," "Dance, Dance," I honestly don't get the whole thing with Fall Out Boy. I don't like their music and I find Pete Wentz completely intolerable and would rather have a pit bull chew off my leg than have to listen to him be all emo while pretending he's not cool because the ultimate in being cool is not caring when in reality he is trying so f*ing hard to be cool. I am getting so angry typing right now that I have to walk away. Something inside me really dislikes this guy. This was the scene outside the Mayor's office in Paris, France during star Eva Longoria and Tony Parker's civil ceremony this morning. Paris Mayor Bertrand Delanoe officiated the civil ceremony which is a prelude to the extravagant ceremony planned for tomorrow. French law requires that couples make their vows official at a city hall, even if they have a church wedding as well. Eva showed up in a pink Chanel dress before changing into a white gown for the ceremony while Tony Parker arrived with soccer star Thierry Henry wearing a dark suit.
