It was the Los Angeles premiere of Hairspray last night which stars John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walken, Amanda Bynes, James Marsden, (dep breath) Brittany Snow, Queen Latifah, Zac Efron, Elijah Kelley and Nikki Blonsky. Geez, that is one star studded cast.
Is this the summer of movies I'm not going to be viewing? Are you guys going to see this?
I'm not, solely on the fact that it stars John Travolta and I am doing my best to boycott anything Scientology, which is a lot harder than you think.

David Beckham and his US soccer appearance may be dominating the sporting news but it seems like Los Angeles is on "Posh Watch," waiting to see what Victoria and her style are going to bring to the LA landscape. David may have the future of soccer in America on his shoulders but Victoria isn't going to have it much easier. Adjusting to life in the states as an international celebrity can can be difficult. The nightlife, social circles, and popularity change more rapidly in LA than they do in London and being the wife of a professional athlete, even the wife of the most famous athlete in the world, doesn't have the same cache here as it may back home.
With their scheduled arrival at Los Angeles International Airport tomorrow things are going to get interesting but we at Splash News Online will do our best to keep you on top of it all with our very own Team Beckham.
I wonder if Victoria is thrilled to be on the cover of the August issue of W magazine with her hubby or if she secretly wishes it was just her?

Is Lil' Kim trying to squeeze in on Whitney Houston's boytoy Ray J? They showed up and left a party at the Roosevelt Hotel together lat night.
Was Kim so impressed with his moves in his porn movie that she wants a piece? And how the hell does Ray J have a Ferrari? Or is it a Lamborghini? Either way a hit single 6 years ago and an amateur porn flick doesn't equal Italian super car.

Tara Reid made an appearance at the Garrard Flagship Store Opening in Beverly Hills, CA. She looks great, fresh faced and happy but you know what? I miss the old Tara Reid that would stumble out of nightclubs with her breasts falling out of her dress.
It made my job so much easier.

Nicole Richie is surely breathing a sigh of relief up there in Canada. The commissioner in charge of her DUI trial has granted a one month reprieve, moving the trial date to August 16th so that her expert witness, who is currently on vacation, will be back and able to testify in her defense.
Richie has recruited Dr. Terence McGee to challenge the results a urine test she submitted to after her arrest, claiming that the test is unreliable and that a blood test should have been administered as a more reliable testing procedure.
Richie admitted to police that she had smoked pot and taken the pain killer Vicodin, which I'm sure the urine analysis confirmed, so how is Richie going to get out of this one?
