Justin Timberlake is bringing some Southern Hospitality to New York City. The Tennessee-born star is opening a Memphis-style restaurant in Manhattan with pals Eytan Sugarman and Trace Ayala. The Upper East Side eatery's menu reportedly includes a string of dishes taken from Timberlake family recipes (is he related to the Colonel?) This isn't JT's first restaurant venture, he opened 'Chi' on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles but didn't former flame Britney Spears try this in NYC with NOLA or something like that and fail? I'm not saying that Justin's new joint will not succeed but does New York need another Southern food restaurant? What do you guys think?

Oprah Winfrey is devastated after her pet dog Gracie died by choking on a plastic ball. In the August edition of her O Magazine, she reveals how her two-year-old Labrador choked whilst out with a dog walker.

I bet her dog gets a better funeral than any human I know!

We spotted Katie Holmes attending the NYC Premiere of fellow Scientologist, John Travolta's new film 'Hairspray'. I guess her over bearing husband, Tom Cruise or the "freak" as he has since been known folowing the Oprah embarrassment thought it was about time he loosened the reigns of the very tight leash that he holds over her.
