We snapped the growing crowd of mingling celebrities and high society at the Mercedes Benz Polo Challenge, which got off to a slightly shaky start on Saturday. Although Debra Messing and Reggie Jackson did a perfect job ushering in the match, Debra almost didn't make it. On her way to Bridgehampton, she spent some tense time in the car trapped in heavy beach traffic. Luckily, Debra got there just in time and rolled the ball to mark the start of the fourth chukker. Guests in attendance included Michelle Rodriguez, Katie Lee Joel, Samantha Cole, and Denise Vasi, who all dressed in true Hamptons style for the event. More pics after the jump

Crowds grew as he made his way along the marina and small streets, rocking a pair of Crocs along with some wild swim trunks. Our photographers snapped the media circus as Debra Messing and Reggie Jackson caught the opening day of the Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge at the JetOne Jets Field in Bridgehampton, NY. Debra looked elegant with her draped white top and lots of gold bracelets, laughing and posing for the crowd. Other celebrities in attendance sought refuge under the tents, but after taking to the fields, Debra and Reggie stomped the divets with the best of 'em in a traditional opening ceremony. The Dr. 90210 star Dr. Robert Rey was snapped after an eyebrow wax at the Anastasia Salon yesterday in Beverly Hills. He was wearing a karate uniform accessorized by his black belt and his pretty winsome tan. I wonder if Dr. Rey saw Heidi Klum while he was there, who also got some primping accomplished this Saturday. Denise Richards and Denise Brown were just two of the celebs we snapped at the HER Luau, held last night, to benefit the Nicole Brown Foundation. Proceeds from the "HER Luau at the Mansion" will assist victims of domestic violence, and we caught supporters like Eliza Dushku and Kim Kardashian on their way down the pink carpet. While a handful of guests chose to wear the Hawaiian brights to the event at the Playboy Mansion in Holmby Hills, there were some characteristically brief outfits worn by other guests like Shauna Sand and Katie Lohmann. I'm not sure if a Hawaiian luau warrants pink fuzzy boots, but you can decide after the jump! More pics after the jump

Even though his character is a superhero who has fallen out of favor with the public, Will Smith certainly hasn't. He shook hands and posed for photos during a filming break for his new action comedy film "Hancock" in downtown LA.
