I don't share your negative, nasty opinion of Lindsay. I hope she really is taking rehab seriously and that she is concerned with her image. I also hope when she gets out she will get away from all the negative, nasty people in her life and start over. She has talent and she will get it together, I hope. OTOH: No one is talking about the "elephant in the room."
Lindsay is also facing jail time and legal problems. Maybe toning down her image and taking rehab seriously is part of her attempt to NOT go to jail.

I can't help but have a negative feeling towards this spoilt brat.

People in this world have far less than lindsay and would give their left arm for her lifestyle and future. Yet she takes it all with a pinch of salt and still manages to f**k it up.

i have little sympathy for the girl - She has money - looks - a career - but still at the tender age of 20 she has been to rehab more than once and is potentially facing jail for DUI through no fault of her own - it's shocking.

How is it not her fault? I don't understand that. She chose to get behind the wheel of her car and drive. There is HUGE fault in that. I understand and sympathize with the girl because she, unfortunately, was never allowed to be a normal child (see Michael Jackson, Britney, Drew Barrymore, etc). The pressue of Hollywood on a child is simply too much and it causes these sorts of things to happen. Sad, yes. But honestly, at some point a person, being 20 or whatever, needs to wake up and realize that they have free will - the choice is theirs. What choice they make they have to suffer the consequences if it ends up being the wrong choice. She's just lucky that she didn't seriously hurt or kill someone.

I also think this is just an attempt to look better and try to save her sorry ass from some jail time.

I'm betting it won't be long before she's back at the clubs, hanging with the same people, doing exactly the same thing. I have ab-so-lute-ly no faith in her cleaning up her act.
