i bet she was taking out the trash and forgot where to dump it
haha Herman B!
Aww sweet. But shouldn't she have that baby indoors instead of walking the streets? It's only a few weeks old. She does look great though for just having a baby.
why bottle the kid up? it's good to let 'em out and get fresh air...
chris she probably gained the minimum 25-35 lbs and is breastfeeding like most well-informed mothers are doing today. and yes you can take a newborn outdoors. how do you think our ancestors survived? in a nice mansion? NOPE!
Um the only reason I mentioned taking the baby out at 2 weeks old is because anyone who is a parent knows that newborns immune systems aren't very strong, they get sick easily. Who wants a hollering sick newborn baby from being out and about around nasty people and their germs? That's the point I was trying to make.
point well made but it's a bit exaggerated if the parent is already cautious, ya know? i took my daughter to Mass when she was 4 days old. took her on an airplane nearing 3 weeks. no sickies! breast is best ;-)
oh yea and germs build their immune system, and they are always crying as it is. but i know what you meant
I agree with Slap a Paris. Why take the RISK. My friend's baby's down with a viral meningitis because of this. Now the child and mother will both suffer for life. You can go out, but should avoid crowded places.
Chantal, you were just lucky my dear.
