Guess what! The Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards were last night and I didn't watch it, I was busy thanking God that I went to college (seriously, and I even graduated) while watching "Dirty Jobs." Did I miss anything? I saw that Beyonce unveiled the latest in "cyborg chic" during her performance but did anything else worth reporting happen?

Paris Hilton's post-jail life has been surprisingly uneventful. Spending time with her family, getting her hair and makeup "did" is rather normal for the girl but considering the amount of bad press she received while in the joint and how her lifestyle was scrutinized, it's understandable. I, on the other hand, would have done things slightly different. Upon my release from jail at 12:01 AM, I would have been slamming beers at The Goose (NSFW) at approximately 12:13 AM using the "I just got out of jail" sympathy card for multiple discounted lap dances. Followed by no less than 4 Sourdough Jacks and a box of egg rolls from Jack In The Box. Maybe some tacos too. What about you guys and gals? What would your post adventure be like?

I, like most boys, had a big crush on Alicia Silverstone when 'Clueless' hit the big screens. And when she packed on the pounds I still had a soft spot in my heart for her because she still had that same cute smile and down to earth personality. But these pictures of Alicia on her way to Ken Paves salon just demolished that crush. In what has to be the craziest story of the day (crazy because Britney is possibly certifiable and Kevin would be insane to agree to this) the National Enquirer is reporting that Britney Spears has changed her mind and is not going to divorce her estranged husband Kevin Federline.

"I'm not divorcing you! I want my family back!" Britney told a stunned K-Fed during a phone conversation

If that wasn't enough to make your or K-Fed move to another planet Britney has allegedly threatening Kevin to get her way.

During their recent heated phone call- in which they argued about custody arrangements- Kevin repeatedly told Britney he wasn't coming home. Brit then became incensed and told him she would drag out their divorce in the courts for months, "until he saw things her way and came back to her."

O RLY Britney? See things your way? Does that mean you're going to make K-Fed flash his junk to the world? Maybe have him vomit in a nightclub bathroom? Force him into rehab? The only thing a long, drawn out divorce battle will do (besides give me an endless amount of material to write about) is make Britney look worse than she already does when everything that happens behind the closed doors of her mansion becomes public record and all her late night antics, pre and post-rehab behavior, and irresponsibility is used against. Paris Hilton spent her first day of freedom lounging around in sweatpants, getting new hair extensions and eating Taco Bell. A string of friends, relatives, publicists and stylists visited the Simple Life star as she tried to keep a low profile at her grandparents' mansion in Bel Air, California. It didn’t really work but Paris saw the fun side of the whole affair and even ordered food for the swarms of photographers, reporters and cameramen camped outside the family home. Paris was taken from the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, straight to her grandparents' sprawling Bel Air estate.Scenes of chaos erupted on Tuesday morning as media cars and trucks lined the quiet street, and angry neighbours struggled to drive to and from their homes. Residents continuously hit their horns and threatened to call 911 as they found their usual path blocked, Beverly Hills Police eventually cordoned off the street, directed traffic around a diversion route and kept order outside the Hilton home. It was soon back to ways of old for Paris as she spent the day pampering herself, ahead of an appearance on Larry King's US talk show on Wednesday night. The first visitors came in the name of 'Dream Catchers' - Paris' own company and the self-proclaimed 'World's Best Hair Extensions'. Make-up artists and stylists followed, as did a florist clutching a bunch of flowers for Paris and a catering company with a 'Welcome Home' cake and balloons. Moods in the Paris media circus brightened at the arrival of a Taco Bell delivery duo. The Mexican fast food chain rang the intercom at the Hilton home, only to be told the tacos were for the press pack camped outside.
