George Michael performed to a packed Wembly Stadium in London yesterday, following a verdict of community service on Friday after being convicted of a DUI charge (it was prescription drugs you know...maybe he took one too many teaspoons of Puriton seeing that London does have a high pollen count). The ex Wham star wowed the crowd with Wham classics and stuff from both his old and new albums. He was the first artist to perform following Wembley Stadium's pound guzzling make over. Calum Best the original ladies man looked a bit lonely after he was papped sitting on the pavement (sidewalk to my transatlantic buddies) outside his hotel in Hollywood. Strange, probably not, unusual for Mr Best, yes. Now I reckon that he was on a blind date and some young filly asked him to identify himself via the use of an American Apparel bag. It would seem the stud muffin got stood up. Do you think this may have something to do with a certain disgruntled starlet whose name we won't mention, but has been having a lot of car problems in the middle of the night? Hmmm? Hey Beyonce! Smile! The usually smiley Beyonce was rather camera shy as she arrived in Ireland via ferry and tour bus from Manchester. Was it because of those ridiculously large sunglasses that seemed to be hiding her entire face or was it simply that work was starting to take its toll on the 25 year old's face. Either way her bodyguard seems to have a rather large Boots the Chemist bag on his person. I suspect it's filled with miracle anti aging cream Protect and Repair. The man once accused of plotting to kidnap David Letterman's newborn son has escaped from prison. 45-year-old Kelly Frank escapes with fellow inmate William Willcutt from a Butte, Montana prison Ranch. Willcutt worked on a Ranch owned by The Late Show host and was arrested back in March of 2005 and accused of plotting to kidnap Letterman's son Harry, lying to police and overcharging the TV star for painting work. The kidnap charges were later dropped and Frank pleaded guilty to theft, obstruction and illegally killing wildlife. Kidnapping kids is incredibly disgusting but how many of you would freak out Letterman walked on stage, dumped a pile of money on his desk, stared into the camera and said:

"This is your ransom. Two million dollars in unmarked bills, just like you wanted. But this is as close as you'll ever get to it. You'll never see one dollar of this money, because no ransom will ever be paid for my son. Not one dime, not one penny. Instead, I'm offering this money as a reward on your head. Dead or alive, it doesn't matter. So congratulations, you've just become a two million dollar lottery ticket... except the odds are much, much better. Do you know anyone that wouldn't turn you in for two million dollars? I don't think you do. I doubt it. So wherever you go and whatever you do, this money will be tracking you down for all time. And to ensure that it does, to keep interest alive, I'm running a full-page ad in every major newspaper every Sunday... for as long as it takes. Victoria Beckham arrived back in Los Angeles yesterday to continue getting her new house ready for the arrival of her soccer star husband David Beckham and to continue filming her reality television show whici will air later this air. There has been a ton of drama with her reality show lately, first it was originally supposed to air on NBC but has since been optioned to cable TV network Bravo. Rumors were swirling that the show was canceled during filming last week because of Posh Spice's diva-like behavior and constant traveling to support her husband. Now comes news that instead of airing over 6-weeks the show has been chopped down to a 1-hour special. More pics after the jump!
