Eddie Murphy is set to appear in a Los Angeles Court today to submit to a DNA test to prove if he is or isn't the father of Spice Girl Melanie Brown aka Mel B aka Scary Spice's daughter.
Murphy famously dumped the pregnant Mel B during an interview and has denied fathering the child. Mel B has stood by her claim that Murphy is the one and only man who could have fathered her child.

Paris Hilton has spoken out from behind her iron bars, according to one of America's best known reporters Barbara Waters! In her first interview from jail Paris said she was "severely depressed" and she called jail a "horrible experience" but added she would now "like to make a difference."
Paris had been sent home over medical problems but has been housed at a special unit for medical and psychiatric examination since being sent back in. According to US network ABC, she said of her first stint in jail: "I was not eating or sleeping. I was severely depressed and felt as if I was in a cage. It was a horrible experience." Erm? Hate to break it to you Paris, it's meant to be! It's jail!
She added further: "I used to act dumb, that act is no longer cute. Now, I would like to make a difference, God has given me this new chance." The interview reportedly came when Paris' mother Kathy Hilton was speaking to Walters as she phoned on another line her from jail. When told Walters was on the other line, Paris said she'd like to talk to the reporter herself and they then had a conversation.

It seems Paris Hilton efforts to go un-papped in jail hasn't worked, if reports by fellow in mates come true. During her first 3 days in jail, Paris refused to eat or drink because she was scared guards might snap her on the toilet, as the 'dunny' was in full view of a large window in the door.
But now it has been reported that Paris Hilton HAS been snapped behind bars by an inmate who smuggled a camera phone into jail hidden in an intimate place. Ooooh-er! Now the female lag wants to cash in on the two pictures she managed to snatch of the celebrity heiress.
One picture allegedly show Hilton wearing her 'prison blues' and another shows her just wearing her underpants, which have 'bitch' written on them. Prison guards eventually confiscated the phone, but not before the inmate was able to e-mail the pictures to a friend, the New York Post reports.

It appears the naughtier version of Paris Hilton earns more money than the partying version! Paris may be weeping in jail but her tears will soon turn into dollars signs when she hears that she is at the center of a frenzied multi-million dollar bidding war for her first TV interview.
The heiress' representatives are shopping around the rights to the first chat with Paris, both in jail and out, according to U.S reports. TV producer David Krieff has already made a multi-million dollar offer to interview Hilton in prison. "Something good could come of this," Krieff told the New York Post. "She could come off humble and show that if you make a mistake, no mater how much money you make, you can't break the law." Yeah right, humble? She'll only be humble because her agents will tell her thats the only way to restore her image.
TV insiders have described a Hilton interview as the biggest 'get' in television since the death of Anna Nicole Smith. In the wake of the Playmate's death U.S entertainment shows shelled out millions of dollars to secure exclusive chats with Howard K. Stern, and her ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead.

It's only been a couple of days since Paris made her re-entry to jail but her parents Rick and Kathy Hilton still seem to be hoping for a miracle for their daughter as they headed out to Church yesterday in Beverly Hills.
On her way out of the church Kathy said that she was not visiting Paris today as her sister Nicky was visiting and she was only allowed 30 minutes, so they thought it was important that she see Nicky.

Nicky Hilton may have been looking like a concerned sister as she visited Paris in the Twin Towers Correctional facility yesterday, but I reckon she is secretly taking great pleasure in being the 'better' sister for once. Nicky is not one to shine in the limelight when starlet Hilton is around, so now with 45 free of Paris free, will she use this chance to enjoy the attention off the back of her jail bound sister.
Will she be gloating to Mummy and Daddy 'look who is the better daughter now, you may have given Paris all the looks, but I don't parade my self around clubs nightly with a 'Brat Pack' and land in jail with depression'?
