Im confused? An insider has told People magazine that Kevin Federline is refusing to finalize his divorce from Britney Spears because he is worried about her behavior. But...Britney's lawyers are keen to sign off the divorce? Hang on? I thought Britney wanted Kevin and her family back, so why would she be telling her lawyers to get the divorced tied up? Kevin's reluctance to sign makes sense and backs up reports that he is non to fond of the idea of getting back with the shaven raven! "They want to make sure that the divorce document makes it simple enough for Kevin to downsize Britney's access to her kids the next time her behavior troubles him." So what is going on? Does Britney want this idiot back or not?

Shortly before 2am this morning a car bomb was found in a Mercedes car outside a popular club in central London, and in the last 15 minutes another bomb is believed to have been found in Park Lane. The Mercedes contained 60 litres of petrol, a large amount of nails and several gas canisters, police have revealed they have foiled a major terror attack after the "big" explosive device was discovered. Police said if the bomb had gone off it could have caused "significant injury or loss of life". Bomb squad officers defused it after police received reports of a suspicious vehicle close to the Tiger Tiger nightclub in Piccadilly Circus. An ambulance crew, who treated a person in the club in an unrelated incident, reported that there was smoke inside the car. There was so much petrol in the vehicle that the highly flammable vapour it gave off is believed to have looked like smoke The bomb was near the popular Regent Street shopping area, and security sources say it could have been timed to coincide with Gordon Brown's first day as Prime Minister. The discovery of the car bomb comes just under two years since suicide attacks killed 52 people and injured 784 on London's transport network on July 7, 2005. Whitehall sources said that the police and security services were looking at possible international links - including similarities to car bombs used by insurgents in Iraq. Mr Brown said the incident reminds us that Britain faces "a serious and continuous threat" and the public "need to be alert" at all times.

An American newsreader (who may be set to become America's favorite) was so angry about covering Paris Hilton's release, she shredded her script and tried to set fire to it on air! Anchor Mika Brzezinski flipped after lashing out at producers who insisted she make Hilton her lead story on the MSNBC show 'Morning Joe.' "I am about to snap," she warned her bosses. "No, I hate this story and I don't think it should be our lead. My producer Andy Jones is not listening to me. He's put it as the lead," the irate journalist stormed. It's an awful story. We shouldn't cover it." After one refusal, the story re-appeared at the top of the next rolling bulletin and Brzezinski was again asked to read it. She refused, grabbed her co-anchor's cigarette lighter and tried to burn the script. When producers brought the story around for the third time, she grabbed her script, stomped off set and put it through a shredder, with the cameras still rolling on her. Her co-host Joe Scarborough sat amazed as Brzezinski went on her rant. "You know what Mika you make your own lead, that is a cop out," he fired back. "You know what take control of your life alright. Why are you such a journalist?"

Pete Doherty appearing along side girlfriend Kate Moss in a set of Robert Cavalli's advertisments is not new news, but when this picture of Pete at Red Snapper's bookshop landed on my desk today, I couldn't but ask the question again, WHY? Cavalli says "Kate Moss and Pete Doherty perfectly embody everything that's contemporary and they're poetic, creative and wild". Mmmh? I'll give him wild, but the rest is trite surly? I think Roberts choice to use Pete was a highly publicized gamble on whether this couple spliced together would ultimately work as a hit campaign. Many do not care for Pete and his continual popularity in light of the fact he is battling a drug addiction and tends not to do a lot apart from sponge off Kate. Yet it seems of late we can't get enough of reading about the darker sides of fame. With a history of headlines full of drugs, drink, rehab, suicides and general raucous behavior from celebs, are we really interested in anything of a well behaved nature?

Round up! Round up! Another pointless event hits the streets! NYC was awash of celebrities last night, as they made their way in the rain for a free drink and potentially a free flight! Qatar Airlines pulled out the red carpet and invited some close 'friends' as it celebrated it's new service that will now provide flights to NYC. Peter Sarsgaard, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Chloe Sevigny, Diana Ross, Rainey Qualley, Andie MacDowell, Donald Trump, Melania Trump, and Julianne Moore were in attendance. (were was Penelope?)

Penelope Cruz was looking radiant on the street of NYC yesterday, after spending an hour at DOP-DOP Salon in Soho. Her long locks have had a hectic week, so I'm not surprised they needed a super rinse! Saturday she partied and posed at Teddy's nightclub - Tuesday she was spotted leaving Bungalow 8 with Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore after knocking them back with the likes of Madonna, Janet Jackson and Shakira - Wednesday she oozed with style as she had a dinner date with Javier Bardem.
