You'd think that with Lindsay in rehab we'd want the very best for her, you know, all sober and happy. But sod that, we want a party! We've been counting down the days to see how Lindsay would behave when she turned legal, but now the party pooper has cancelled her 21st birthday bash! The wild child actress planned to throw a huge, two-day party in Las Vegas for the celebrations on July 2. But she axed the plans amid fears it would spark more negative publicity. A pal said: "She's worried it wouldn't look good." WTF? When you crash your car into a tree, drunk, and pass out outside a club it's a little to late to worry about what you look like lady. PURE nightclub spokeswoman Kate Turner said: "Due to the unique circumstances, as of (Monday) afternoon Lindsay's birthday party at PURE Nightclub has been canceled. We think the world of her and look forward to working with her in the future." I'm sure you will see her in the future Miss Turner - once she's done some image mending she'll be back on the sauce quicker than you can say PAAAAAARRTTTTY ON!

Pop star Britney Spears has threatened to sue a radio station that put up giant billboards appearing to suggest she's bonkers. Lawyers for the 25-year-old singer sent a letter to the Clear Channel in Tampa, Florida, demanding the advertising signs be taken down immediately. Three different outdoor advertisements showed a paparazzi photo of a bald, snarling Spears alongside the station's morning show host Todd Schnitt. They are headlined, Total Nut Jobs, Shock Therapy, and Certifiable. In a letter to the station, Spears' lawyers said she could demand "very substantial damages", calling the advertisements "outrageous to the extreme" and demanded they be taken down immediately. Schnitt said: "Clear Channel has removed the billboards and I'm not happy with that."

A UK newspaper is claiming that Katie Holmes has told pals she is thrilled to be pregnant with her second child. Stating a source revealed "Katie and Tom are thrilled about having another baby on the way. She [Katie] is glowing with happiness". Splash last spotted Katie Holmes with her ever affectionate husband Tom Cruise in Madrid to watch Becks play footie. Sadly and much to our annoyance we only snapped the Dawson's Creek star sitting down, so couldn't get our trusty zoom lens on to find that bump. But I'm going to choose to believe the hype - Cruise has a mission to populate this planet with like minded fools for sure!

I love this! Poor old Paris is laid up in her cell counting bricks and the rest of the Hilton's are having a jolly old time! Kathy and Nicky Hilton took time out from the long visitors queue to watch Barbara Walters get her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The pair looked very happy and relaxed together, perhaps a planned show of solidarity for the media, to let people 'think' that even though Paris is in jail, the family is stronger than ever.
