Beer-sicles? Sign Me Up!

splashnews_gwny200607d_01.jpg

Pay attention all you readers in the Common Wealth, Rustico Restaurant in Alexandria, Virginia needs your help! Rustico chef Frank Morales has created one of the greatest summertime snacks in the history of man, beer-sicles. Thats right, frozen beer on a stick or in a cone! I know! Amazing, right? My mouth is watering right now just thinking of getting some of that sweet, sweet icy ambrosia. But kids, they may not be around for much longer. Instead of working to improve our educational system, welfare programs, and immigration laws (because that stuff is hard), the stuffy fat cats of the Virginia Bureau of Alcohol want to put an end to these thirst quenching buzz inducing summer treats because according to state regulations beer must be served straight from its original container or served immediately to customers once poured. Pouring the beer into molds, then freezing it before serving it customers violates this arcane law. So faithful Virginians, you descendants of Jamestown, your strength and perseverance is needed once more, we need you to fight for your right to have beer-sicles. So far Chef Morales won't be deterred from selling them but who knows how long he can hold out!

Live Free or Die Hard In London

Even though I've been a loyal fan of the "Die Hard" franchise over the years, I'm not looking forward to the release of the fourth installment, "Live Free or Die Hard," seeing that Bruce Willis is like 300-years-old. He's way too old to be fighting terrorists and blowing up cr*p but because this movie was made and we now have the premiere in London, it means I get to stare at pictures of Kate Beckinsale and Maggie Q, which, at the very least I should thank Bruce for that, right?

Matthew McConnaughey Not Exactly A "Surfer Dude"

Yesterday we brought you the pictures of Matthew McConaughey struggling to catch one of the monster 2-foot waves that have been pounding the shores of Malibu, so today, here's the video! Pay attention to his technique because I think I've totally figured out why McConaughey can't catch a wave, it's his stubby arms. Watch him paddle, his arms barely reach the surface of the water when he's laying on his board. Video by Hot Shots Worldwide

We spotted a green haired Heath Ledger and his daughter Matilda out for a stroll in New York City. Heath is currently filming the next installment of the Batman series, "The Dark Knight" where he plays the Joker, which explains the green hair. But does that explain why Heath is looking a little thin on top? More pics after the jump!

Everyone coos over Shiloh being the messiah, Maddox being adorably punk rock, and with Pax still rocking the new baby smell, Zahara kind of gets ignored by the media and Jolie-Pitt fans. But how can you ignore the cuteness that is Zahara? One More Video After The Jump!

...Even dogs are getting in on the action! An opportunistic young pup saw those humongous teets and couldn't resist while Pamela Anderson was shopping New York City. I wonder if he'll call? More pics after the jump!
