Larry King wins Paris interview battle.

splashnews_ra180407a_01.jpg

So who is getting Paris Hilton's first post-prison interview? It seems the winner changes everyday! It's been reported today that US television's Larry King, will now be the first to speak to the newly freed jail bird. The hotel heiress will appear on the CNN anchor's show, Larry King Live, on Wednesday evening. It comes after rival network NBC axed a $1 million deal with Hilton to tell her story, apparently because they were embarrassed about reports claiming they would pay the Hilton family for materials related to the interview. Bridget Leininger, a spokeswoman for Larry King Live, said: "We do have Paris on Wednesday. She'll do the whole hour." Paris has said in a statement: "I am thrilled that Larry King has asked me to appear to discuss my experience in jail, what I have learned, how I have grown and anything else he wants to talk about. Larry King is not only a world renowned journalist, but a true American icon. It will be an honour to do his show."

Paris Hilton is sick of wearing her orange jail suit, according to her mum. The heiress is due to leave jail today (Tuesday) after serving 23 days of her 45-day sentence for violating probation. In her final visit to Paris, mum Kathy Hilton said she was in good shape but frustrated. "Paris is doing really well, she is really looking forward to going home, and she thanks you in the press who supported her. She's sick of orange", she added her daughter's "health is good. She looks ... like Paris." A family spokeswoman said afterwards. "She wants to be with the family and she can't wait to take that orange suit off." Other visitors said Paris pressed her hands against the glass in the visiting area, frustrated she couldn't hug her mother.

Rapper Brown attacked by pimps 'women'!

splashnews_masny160207a_01.jpg
Rapper Foxy Brown has been beaten up by a gang of women - who pulled out her hearing aid and stole her designer handbag, according to US reports. Police say Brown was set upon by three women after Brown dumped her boyfriend because she found out he was a pimp. A police source said: "This ex-boyfriend called some of his women, and they pounced on her. They beat her bad. They ripped out her hair weave. Her hair was a mess - and that seems to be what she cared about most." The women also stole Brown's Louis Vuitton handbag, credit cards and $500. The assault occurred after the hip-hop artist dumped her beau at 5.30 am on Saturday in Brooklyn, but sources say she was unaware of his criminal past and met him in a recording studio. After the assault, Brown - real name Inga Marchand - filed a complaint at a police station in Brooklyn, New York. It is not Brown's first brush with the law as she got three years' probation after being accused of attacking two manicurists in 2004.

Cam's efforts to be 'cool' backfires!

Cameron Diaz has offended Peruvians by wearing a bag with the logo of a dictator who oppressed thousands of their people. The actress wore a bag with the famous logo of Mao Zedong, but the country suffered years of tyranny at the hands of Zedong. While Diaz explored the Inca city of Machu Picchu high in Peru's Andes, she wore over her shoulder an olive green messenger bag emblazoned with a red star and the words 'Serve the People' printed in Chinese on the flap. While the bags are marketed as trendy fashion accessories in some world capitals, the phrase has particular resonance in Peru. A prominent Peruvian human rights activist said Cameron should have been a little more aware of local sensitivities when picking her accessories. "It alludes to a concept that did so much damage to Peru, that brought about so many victims," said Pablo Rojas about the bag's slogan. "I don't think she should have used that bag where the followers of that ideology did so much damage."
