Paris Hilton was still driving herself around just one day before a court hearing that might land her in jail. She met with friends and family for what may be the last time for a while, that will be for the judge to decide today (friday). At a hearing today lawyers will argue that Hilton knew she was not allowed to drive and should spend 45 days in jail. Hilton was placed on three years' summary probation on January 22 after she pleaded no contest to a drink-driving charge. Cops say they suspended her license and then caught her behind the wheel the following month. Court papers suggest the Simple Life star mistakenly relied on her lawyer's assumption that she had a right to drive but the City Attorney claims this is a bogus argument. The documents also allege Hilton failed to enroll in an alcohol education programme within 21 days of a court order directing her to do so. They ask that "Hilton be ordered to serve 45 days in County Jail" and told "not to consume any alcohol for a continuous period of 90 days". During those 90 days prosecutors want her "to be monitored for alcohol consumption... by use of a Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring device at her expense". More pics after the jump
