Tom Brady spoke out about the impending birth of his first child with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan in the June/July issue of Detail's magazine saying "it's going to be a big challenge." Brady and Moynahan split a little over 5-months ago after dating for over 3-years and has moved onto supermodel and former Victoria's Secret model Gisele Bundchen. Pick up the issue when it hits newsstands to read the full article but one quote did catch my eye concerning the media attention surrounding his split from Moynhan.

“It doesn’t affect anyone but me anyway,” he says, “so why is it a big deal?”

Although it didn't come close to my prediction of a $200 million weekend, Pirates of The Caribbean: At World's End still cleaned up at the box office taking in $142.1 ($156.1 if you count Thursday nights receipts), a Memorial Day weekend record. Although the box office take is outstanding, people are saying that it didn't beat Spider-Man 3 because of its' 2 hour and 47 minute run time, limiting the number of screenings a theater could fit in. But people fail to remember that Pirates opened up in over a hundred more theaters than Spider-Man. My reasoning? Pirates had stiffer competition, having to face off against Spider-Man 3 and the third installment of the animated juggernaut Shrek: The Third. Oh and who the hell really wants to go to the movies when I can get drunk at the beach for 3-days? Or have unprotected sex while tubing down the Colorado River like a certain "#1 fan" of this blog?

Here is the first picture of Lindsay Lohan, comfirming that she has checked into Promises Rehabilitation center in Malibu, CA. She is supposedly been entered into a 30-day treatment program stemming from her recent DUI crash and arrest were police found cocaine in her car. Pictures by Ben Tsui

It has seemed that the Lohan family with all their problems (Michael Lohan's car crashes, drugs, arrests, jail time; Lindsay's drug and alcohol problems, stints in rehab, recent DUI crash and arrest; Dina's whose big mouth has constantly been looking the other way; and not to mention the uncle that was arrested for mail fraud) had the "crazy" moniker on lock down but the Hilton's are making a strong push to get a share of the title. Paris Hilton's estranged Aunt, Elizabeth Avanzino (she is the half-sister of her mom, Kathy Hilton) has sent the letter pictured above to the New York post in hopes of helping the hotel heiress be prepared for her impending stint in the pen on June 5. You see, Aunty Elizabeth is no stranger to life behind bars as she has been convicted on several drug charges and violations of probation.

"For Paris, money, fame and fortune can hide addiction. [But] addiction is addiction, whether it's alcohol or speeding. It runs in the blood, it really does. I don't want anything from [the Hiltons]. Paris does have a lot of issues, and I just want them to come up just to talk. She's a person, she makes mistakes, but I think this goes deeper. People need to know their roots."

Avanzino has never met Paris but somehow feels it's her place to give her advice? And why send the letter to The Post if you don't want anything from the Hilton's? You couldn't mail her directly? Or her publicist? Such a joke.
