While most of us spent Mother's day calling our moms, sending flowers, cards, macaroni pictures, and the ash trays we made in shop class to thank our moms for not snuffing us out before our lives even began; A tough call for any mom who just realized that she was going to lose her figure, forgo her dreams of being a dancer or a travel journalist only to raise all of you ungrateful rapscallions (I on the other hand was a blessing, right mom?), Britney Spears reportedly failed to not just call her mom but because things have gotten so bad between them, she didn't even visit her in the hospital where she is battling pneumonia.

“Britney has cut off all communication with her mom,” a “friend” of the 25-year-old singer told the National Enquirer. “She’s gone from calling Lynne ten times a day to flat-out refusing to speak to her.”

Britney has cut off communication with her family because she feels betrayed by them and blames her mom for her stint in rehab. Jeebusss Britney! Still playing the blame game? I don't think your mom forced drugs and alcohol down your gullet wile you partied in Vegas with Paris Hilton. I don't think your mom had unprotected sex with you, knocking you up, twice and I don't think your mom shaved your head. Get over yourself.

I thought Paris was trying to get fit for her impending jail sentence? It looks to me like she is putting more effort into co-ordinating her clothes with her bike than actually trying to break a sweat. And what's with the handbag? Is this dude really her personal trainer, or just a buddy with some health tips? I didn't realise that when you hired a trainer, they also took you shopping and bought you ice cream? After some gentle excercise along the beach front Paris and her trainer went shopping for art supplies along La Cienega Boulevard in Beverly Hills. They picked up canvases and paint. Is Paris making some 'IM ABOVE THE LAW' signs to take with her to court? Or are these supplies to keep her busy whilst avoiding a butt kicking in jail? After her artistic vibe Paris grabbed some goodies at the popular 'Pink Berry' in West Hollywood. Are they paying her to go there? Why the sudden interest in ice cream? More pics after the jump

After a 3 hour workout I'm not suprised that Britney Spears headed straight to her local grocery store!! In a change of clothes Britney was seen filling up her shopping trolley with a pal. The not so health conscious singer chose a leg of ham, a case of Coca-Cola and a bag of potato crisps to snack on. Photographers said that Britney looked very out of place in the store as paraded round in a cowboy hat with the words "Country Girl" on it, a short skirt, high heels and dark sunglasses.
