Rough around the edges rocker Pete Doherty left Kate Moss' London home and took a taxi to his accountant for a meeting. It was obviously good news for Pete as he headed straight for a music shop to treat himself to a new electric guitar. As the happy star left the store he failed to notice the comedy graffiti on the shop sign.

Photographers reported that Ashlee Simpson looked stylish as she left a medical building in Beverely Hills yesterday, but I'm not sure I see what they can see? She was either seeing a dude about deep vien thrombosis, or had taken a shine to Avril Lavingne's dress sense!

That is one long ass flight to get bitten by a funnel spider, stung by a irukandji or box jellyfish, eaten by a shark, or to step on a stingray, blue ring octopus, or barrier reef cone shell. 8 out the 10 deadliest snakes also kick it in the land down under and even the "it has feet like a duck but its furry" Platypus can mess your sh*t up with its poisonous spurs. In an article posted this morning on CNN, the AP reporter casually mentioned David Hyde Pierce's (he played the effeminate metrosexual on Frasier not played by Kelsey Grammar) "partner:"

[Pierce] worked at Playwrights Horizons, the Public Theater, Shakespeare in the Park and a lot of regional theaters such as the Guthrie in Minneapolis, Chicago’s Goodman and Long Wharf in New Haven, Conn. Pierce got to Los Angeles in the early 1990s when his partner, actor-writer-producer Brian Hargrove, wanted to write for television.

You know what else gave it way? The article referred to him as still "boyish," dead giveaway. Anyway, I thought this happened years ago when we started doing those "Uncorked" wine guides.

We spotted a fabulous looking Kate Beckinsale leaving her Montreal, Canada hotel with out makeup. Do we all wish we could look like that au naturale? Kate is in Montreal working on her new movie "Whiteout" which is not, as the title suggests, an unauthorized look at the life of Lindsay Lohan but about, I sh*t you not, a U.S. Marshal (played by Beckinsale) tracking a killer in Antarctica as the sun is about to set for six months. Not only is this possibly the worst plot for a movie I have ever encountered but setting this in Antarctica means Beckinsale's only real talent will be hidden under several layers sweaters and winter jackets. And to make things worse, the movie co-stars Tom "yes I'm not dead" Skerritt.

Larry Birkheads former Lawyer, Debra Opri has filed a lawsuit claiming he has not paid any of her legal bills racked up while representing him during the custody battle for his daughter.  Opri claims that the work she did for Birkhead was:

"extensive, entailed hundreds of hours of work" and required her to travel to multiple states and outside the country.

Birkhead claims the charges were excessive, $620,492.84 excessive to be exact due to the numerous lobsters and drycleaning charges Opri included on her itemized bill.
