Set in northern Australia before World War II, an English aristocrat (Kidman) who inherits a sprawling ranch reluctantly pacts with a cattle driver (Jackman) in order to protect her new property from a takeover plot. As the pair drive 2,000 head of cattle over unforgiving landscape, they experience the bombing of Darwin, Australia, by Japanese forces firsthand.

The National Enquirer is reporting that Ryan Phillippe and Britney Spears hooked up on May 16th at Hollywood hotspot Les Deux, getting their grope-on in the men's bathroom, going "from saying hello to groping and kissing each other in record time."

After several of Ryan’s buddies joined them at Britney’s table, Ryan excused himself and went into the nearby men’s room,” said the source. “On the spur of the moment, Britney followed. Alarmed, Britney’s bodyguards began pounding and screaming on the door. With no response from her, they went ballistic. “After calling out to Britney several more times asking if she was OK, they busted in the door and found Britney and Ryan groping and kissing each other,” said the insider.

Of course the rep for Ryan has denied the hookup but surprising is Britney's rep has too, I would have thought her camp would be all over this. Train wreck Britney, who is trying to make a comeback, hooking up with one of Hollywood's soon to be most eligible bachelors? Thats good publicity for once. As for Ryan's explanation, maybe he just needed a "slump buster."
